DraftKings Brings Horse Racing Directly Into Sportsbook App in Nine States Ahead of Kentucky Derby, with "DraftKings Racing”
DraftKings Super App Vision Takes Shape with Horse Racing Integration
BOSTON – April 27, 2026 – DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) today announced “DraftKings Racing,” the company’s previously announced new horse racing feature, is now available in an additional six states ahead of the Kentucky Derby following its launch in Delaware, New Mexico and Rhode Island. Recently added states include Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio and Oregon. DraftKings Racing is a key step in the company’s broader vision for its Super App, “DraftKings Sports & Casino,” which will bring together Sportsbook, Predictions, Casino, and Lottery into one unified experience, with access tailored by jurisdiction.
DraftKings Racing features a unified account and shared wallet, integrated promotional tools and an elevated user experience — delivering a best-in-class platform for customers to engage with horse racing.
“DraftKings is committed to delivering the best fan experience across sports, and we’re proud to continue elevating that experience for horse racing with DraftKings Racing,” said Johnny Avello, Director of Race and Sports Operations at DraftKings. “DraftKings Racing is designed for speed and simplicity, offering a seamless and powerful way to engage with the sport’s biggest moments. By integrating horse racing directly into the DraftKings Sportsbook app, customers can wager across sports in one place with a shared wallet — creating a more connected and streamlined experience.”
DraftKings Racing will roll out on a state-by-state basis, with additional jurisdictions expected to go live throughout 2026. DK Horse will remain available as a standalone app in states where it currently operates and will be phased out as DraftKings Racing is introduced in each jurisdiction.
For the Kentucky Derby, DraftKings is offering a $1 million “King of the Track” promotion across both DraftKings Racing and DK Horse. Customers can opt-in, place a qualifying bet on a winning horse and winners will receive a share of the $1 million cash prize pool.
While DraftKings Racing is accessible within the DraftKings Sportsbook app, it operates under separate regulatory frameworks from online sports betting. As a result, availability will vary by state, with certain jurisdictions offering horse racing independent of sports betting.
DraftKings is dedicated to providing a fun gaming environment that all customers can enjoy responsibly. The company offers a suite of responsible gaming tools and resources. These include My Stat Sheet, which allows customers to monitor personalized gaming activity, and My Budget Builder, a guided tool that helps players set custom limits and reminders through a guided, easy-to-use experience.
