DraftKings and Delta Air Lines Launch SkyPicks, Bringing Free-to-Play Sports Experience to Domestic Flights

SkyPicks will launch with Major League Baseball contests; National Football League contests coming later this year as the season gets underway

BOSTON– July 29, 2026 – DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ: DKNG) and Delta Air Lines (NASDAQ: DAL) today announced the launch of SkyPicks™, a new free-to-play in-flight sports contest that gives eligible customers (21+)  an interactive way to engage with sports while they travel.

SkyPicks allows customers to interact with upcoming sports matchups across professional football, basketball, baseball, and more. Beginning today, customers on U.S. domestic, Wi-Fi-equipped Delta flights can access SkyPicks directly from their personal laptop or mobile device while connected to Delta's complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi through their Delta SkyMiles account. Customers can launch the experience from the Delta Sync Wi-Fi homepage and compete in free-to-play contests while in the air for the chance to win Delta Gift Cards for their next adventure.

"At DraftKings, we believe interaction with sports shouldn't begin and end with the game itself—it should extend to every moment fans care about," said Jeremy Elbaum, Chief Commercial Officer at DraftKings. "As we continue elevating the DraftKings Sports experience, we're also exploring new ways to bring fans closer to the action beyond the traditional settings. Collaborating with Delta gives us the opportunity to reimagine what sports engagement can look like while traveling, bringing innovative ways for fans to stay connected to the games they love—even when they’re in the air."

SkyPicks is a free sports contest available on U.S. domestic Delta flights through Delta Sync Wi-Fi. The contest invites customers to answer a series of sports-related questions—such as who will score first, which team will win, and a final-score tiebreaker—to compete for a spot atop the leaderboard. New contests are offered several times each week, giving customers multiple opportunities to play and win throughout the month.

Once a customer launches SkyPicks, they will be prompted to sign in with an existing DraftKings account or create a new account to participate in that day’s contest. Customers must be 21 or older to access and play SkyPicks, with eligibility verified using their SkyMiles account information.

After submitting their entry, customers can update their picks and track the leaderboard until the contest closes—even after reaching their destination—through a link sent to their email. While customers may continue managing an existing entry after landing, new SkyPicks contests can only be entered while in flight. Winners will receive an email with instructions for redeeming their Delta Gift Card prize.

“With Delta Sync, our goal is to create an onboard experience that offers something for every customer—one that’s connected to what customers love on the ground,” said Ranjan Goswami, Chief Marketing and Product Officer. “For many of our customers, that includes sports. SkyPicks brings that passion onboard in a fun, free-to-play way, giving SkyMiles Members another way to engage with the games and conversations they love while they fly.”

As a leader in responsible engagement, DraftKings designed SkyPicks as a free-to-play experience that does not permit customers to place real-money wagers while in flight in compliance with federal regulation. New customers who later choose to download the DraftKings: Sports & Casino app after reaching their destination must complete DraftKings' standard registration process before they can participate in any real-money sports betting or trading on the platform.
