Achievements FAQs

How will achievement programs be impacted by COVID-19 sport suspensions?

At this time, until we receive updated sport calendars from the official governing bodies of each league, Achievements targets will remain in place. Once we are able to confirm updated season schedules, adjustments will be made where necessary.

How does “Rewards Claiming” work?

After you complete an Achievements milestone in any sport, you can claim your rewards for that milestone by clicking the “claim” button at the top of the Achievements page for that sport. Once you click the “claim” button, the rewards will be deposited directly into your account. Rewards will be claimable within 24 hours after completing a milestone. You can claim these rewards anytime until 30 days after that Achievement program concludes.

When will I be able to claim rewards?

Rewards will be claimable within 24 hours after completing a milestone. You can claim these rewards anytime until 30 days after that Achievement program concludes. Rewards will no longer be claimable 30 days after the Achievements program ends that the rewards were completed in.

Can I claim more than 1 reward at once?

Yes! If you complete more than 1 milestone on the same day or you decide to wait and claim multiple rewards at once, you can click through all your completed milestones and claim rewards for everything that you have accomplished.

How long do I have to claim my rewards?

Achievement rewards will be claimable until 30 days after the Achievements program ends in which they were completed. Rewards will no longer be claimable 30 days after the Achievements program ends.

Why do I have to claim my Achievement rewards?

Claimable Achievement Rewards allow DraftKings players to easily track exactly what rewards they are earning for the progress they make within a sport. Claimable rewards also provide players with the flexibility to claim their prizes when they want to, rather than having them automatically distributed the day after completing a milestone. But don't worry, the reward amounts for each milestone will not change.

What are Crowns?

Crowns (formerly FPPs) are a form of currency that DraftKings players can spend on contest tickets and merchandise in the DK Shop. How many Crowns you earn each month also determines your Daily Rewards Status Tier for the next month. Crowns can only be used on DraftKings or in the DK Store and have no cash value and are non-transferrable.

Will there be Achievements for other sports?

We currently offer Achievements for PGA, TEN, NAS, ESP, SOC, NBA and NHL. Given the popularity and demand of these programs, we are looking to expand on our Achievement offerings into additional sports. Keep an eye on the Achievements page for updates in the weeks ahead.

How will achievements be impacted by the NBA season suspension?

Following the official NBA announcement that the regular season will return on July 30, 2020 and the release of the NBA schedule, we have decided to continue our regular season NBA Achievements program throughout the remainder of the season in Orlando. There will be 16 NBA regular season days remaining to be played between July 30, 2020 – August 14, 2020.

All achievements that count “Total days…” have been adjusted to reflect the change in days remaining for the regular season. DK Players who were on pace to complete the achievement types listed above will be able to complete (or will have already completed) these Achievements by the end of the new schedule due to a reduction in the final milestone of each Achievement. The changes are:

The new final milestone for “Fantasy Basketball Ironman” will be 145 days.

The new final milestone for “Gym Rat” will be 131 days.

The new final milestone for “Jack of All Trades” will be 126 days.

The new final milestone for “Two Sport Athlete” will be 145 days.

How will the NBA 25-Point Hunt be impacted by the NBA season suspension?

We have decided to continue our NBA 25-Point Hunt promotion for the remainder of the season in Orlando through August 14. Between March 2, 2020 and March 11, 2020 - 28 of the 30 NBA team had at least 1 player score 25+ points in an NBA game. The only two teams that did not complete this feat were “Golden State” and “Denver”. The NBA is returning to play with 22 NBA teams and “Golden State” will not be one of these 22 teams. As such, “Golden State” has been removed from the program and the highest goal for the “Ultimate 25-Point Hunter” will be “Play at least one player from 29 NBA teams who drops 25+ NBA points in a game between 3/2 and 8/14”. Since “Denver” will be included 22 team regular season, they will remain in the program.

What is the NBA 25-Point Hunt?

The NBA 25-Point Hunt is a limited-time Achievement program during the NBA season that runs from Monday, March 2 until August 14 (previously 3/20). DraftKings players receive crowns for drafting a player from each NBA team who scores 25+ NBA points in a game in a paid lineup (NBA points, not DFS points).

1) Ultimate 25-Point Hunter
Playing at least one player from 29 NBA teams (no GS) who drops 25+ NBA points in a game between 3/2 and 8/14 (previously 3/20) will earn you 1,500 crowns.

2) Super 25-Point Hunter
Playing at least one player from 25 NBA teams who drops 25+ NBA points in a game between 3/2 and 8/14 (previously 3/20) will earn you 100 crowns.

3) 25-Point Hunter
Playing at least one player from 15 NBA teams who drops 25+ NBA points in a game between 3/2 and 8/14 (previously 3/20) will earn you 50 crowns.

How long do I have to complete the NBA 25-Point Hunt?

The NBA 25-Point Hunt will run from Monday, March 2, 2020 until August 14, 2020 (previously March 20). 25-Point Hunt rewards will be claimable until 30 days after the program ends. Rewards will no longer be claimable after 11:59 PM ET on September 13, 2020.

What happens if one or more teams do not have a player that scores 25 NBA points between March 2 and August 14 (previously March 20)?

If one or more teams do not have a player who scores 25+ NBA points in a game between 3/2 – 8/14 (previously 3/20), the “Ultimate 25-Point Hunter” achievement will scale down by the number of teams that do not have a 25-point scorer.

EXAMPLE) If NYK are the only team that does not have a player score 25 points, the “Ultimate 25-Point Hunter” achievement will award 1,500 crowns to all DK Players who “Play at least one player from 29 NBA teams who drops 25+ points in a game”.

When do the PGA Achievements begin and conclude?

How do PGA Achievements work?

Each PGA Achievement has specific milestones. When you complete a milestone for any of the achievements, you will be able to claim a reward for that milestone on the PGA Achievements page. This reward can be claimed by clicking the “claim” button on the top of the landing page. Rewards will be claimable within 24 hours of completing a milestone and can be claimed anytime until 30 days after the PGA Achievements program ends. Rewards will no longer be claimable 30 days after the PGA Achievements program ends.

Example 1:
PGA Achievement: Birdie Machine - Total birdies accumulated in paid Classic, Weekend, and Showdown entries between 1/2/20 and 11/15/20
Milestone 1: Accumulate 250 birdies in paid lineups
Reward: 15 Crowns
If you play in a paid PGA contest and accumulate 250 birdies, you will complete Milestone 1 of the Birdie Machine. You will be able to claim 15 Crowns within 24 hours of that contest being paid out and these “claimable” 15 Crowns can be claimed anytime until 30 days after the PGA Achievements program ends. You will now be tasked with Milestone 2, accumulate 1,000 birdies in paid PGA lineups.

Can I complete more than one milestone on the same day?

Yes! If you have a very active PGA day you can complete more than one milestone in one day across your PGA Achievements.

How long do I have to complete my PGA Achievements?

PGA Achievements will run between January 2 and November 15. Pending any schedule changes, the last day to complete PGA Achievements will be on November 15, 2020. Achievements rewards will be claimable until 30 days after the PGA Achievements program ends. Rewards will no longer be claimable after 11:59 PM ET on December 15, 2020.

Are PGA Achievements cumulative?

Yes! After you complete your first milestone for an achievement, you will be that much closer to your second milestone, as can be seen on the progress meter for each achievement.

Example:
PGA Achievement: Birdie Machine - Total birdies accumulated in paid Classic, Weekend, and Showdown entries between 1/2/20 and 11/15/20
Milestone 3: Accumulate 2,500 birdies in paid lineups
Reward: 85 Crowns

If you are tasked with completing Milestone 3 of the “Birdie Machine”, that means you have already completed Milestones 1 and 2. Since Milestone 3 is to accumulate 2,500 birdies in paid lineups, you will begin this challenge only needing to accumulate 1,500 additional birdies.
