Don’t miss out on the Wild Card Weekend $300,000 Flea Flicker This Sunday. $5 to enter, First Place wins $25,000
JGENNARO29’s absurd lineup became the first fantasy football lineup in 2014 to exceed 300 points on DraftKings. This past Sunday was a fantasy-owner’s dream with high scoring performances coming from all over the place. The lineup was the latest to win $1,000,000 on DraftKings, coming in first place in the Millionaire Maker contest this week. He joins 9 others who have won the $1 Million first place prize already this season.
While your fantasy playoffs might be over, there’s still plenty of time to win money playing fantasy football this season. To prepare, here is a breakdown of the wild card weekend:
Top 3 Quarterbacks
Andrew Luck ($8,800) – The Colts earn a home game against the inconsistent Bengals. If they want to advance, they’ll have to do it on the shoulders of Luck, who has played sparingly the last two games.
Cam Newton ($7,600) – Newton is another former first overall pick who gets to lead his team in a home playoff game. Much talk has been made of the AFC South’s struggles, but the Panthers actually come into this game favored against the Cardinals.
Tony Romo ($7,500) – Could this be the year that Romo finally performs in the playoffs? Romo finished a stellar season with 34 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions, so Cowboys fans have reason to feel optimistic.
Top 3 Running Backs
Le’Veon Bell ($9,000) – Early reports are that Bell’s injury may hold him out for this matchup against the Ravens. Regardless, Bell does not look like a smart play while he is injured.
DeMarco Murray ($8,800) – Suh’s suspension should be a huge relief to Murray, who finished the season with over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 12 100-yard rushing games.
Jeremy Hill ($6,200) – Giovana Bernard came in as the starter for Cincinnati, but Hill has been so impressive that he has taken the lions share of the carries for the Bengals. He has perhaps the most favorable matchup, going against the Colts rushing D.
Top 3 Wide Receivers
Antonio Brown ($8,900) – Big Ben’s favorite target has been a model of consistency this year, and faces a depleated Ravens secondary. He feels like one of the safest picks this week
Calvin Johnson ($8,800) – The often-injured Lions WR comes in a little hobbled, but we don’t expect it to prevent Megatron from putting another solid performance together.
Dez Bryant ($8,500) – Bryant finished with a league-leading 16 receiving touchdowns, so it’s hard not to give him a look this week. Pairing him with Romo could pay huge dividends if the Cowboys perform.
