Anaheim Ducks vs Buffalo Sabres

Ryan Getzlaf ($6,500) – Rickard Rakell ($6,200) – Patrick Eaves ($5,500)

Getzlaf has been fantastic overall lately, posting 15 points in his last 10 games. On his current three-game streak he has two goals and four assists, two special teams points and six shots on goal (SOG). Rakell has scored a goal in three straight games and added a power play (PP) assist in that span while firing off 11 SOG. He has reached the 30-goal mark for the first time in his career and is three points from a new career-high. Eaves has struggled since his trade to Anaheim with his four points coming in three games, but he has continued to shoot the puck and does have an assist against the Sabres already this season.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs New Jersey Devils

Sidney Crosby ($8,400) – Conor Sheary ($6,600) – Jake Guentzel ($5,000)

Despite being shut out by the Flyers on Wednesday this line has a great matchup tonight against a Devils team that is playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Crosby enters tonight fourth in the league in scoring with 74 points and has five points in three games against NJ this season. Sheary has four multi-point games in his last six outings and has one point and five SOG against NJ on the year. Guentzel has nine points in his last 10 games and scored a goal in his only game against the Devils this year. Devils goaltender Cory Schneider has allowed three goals or more in each of his last four starts and allowed eight goals to the Pens this season.

Superstar to Build Around

Tyler Seguin ($7,000) – With Jamie Benn having left the Stars game last night, Seguin will be looked at to pick up the scoring slack tonight. He netted a power play goal (PPG) last night and fired off six SOG against the Canucks. He has nine points, 41 SOG and three power play points (PPP) in his last 10 games overall. Seguin and the Stars will likely face Flames’ backup Chad Johnson tonight, who has allowed 17 goals against in his last five starts.

Value on Offense

Michael Grabner ($4,500) – Grabner leads the Rangers in goals with 27 on the season, picking up his 27th on Monday against the Lightning. He missed almost two weeks with an injury but has points in back-to-back games since his return. He has the goal, two assists and four SOG in his two games back.

Jonathan Marchessault ($4,700) – Marchessault is skating on a very solid Panthers third line and is backing up his breakout season. He comes into tonight’s game against the Rangers on a four-game point streak and has points in five of his last six overall. He’s shattered his former career-highs in every stat category, posting a 23-20-43 stat line this season.

Stud Goalies

USATSI_9932008_168381090_lowres

James Reimer ($7,000) – After a few rocky games, Reimer has righted the ship and posted back-to-back solid outings. He’s allowed two goals in each game in his last two starts, beating the Leafs and taking a loss to Columbus. He’s 1-1-0 against the Rangers so far this season and is a fantastic value price tonight, allowing you to spend on your roster elsewhere.

Jonathan Bernier ($8,300) – Bernier has been fantastic playing fill-in duty for the injured John Gibson. Bernier is 5-1-0 in six starts in the month of March posting a 1.66 goals against average (GAA) and a .947 save percentage (SV%). Those numbers are sixth and fourth in the NHL respectively this month. He enters tonight riding a four-game winning streak that has seen him allow a total of six goals against.

Value on Defense

Keith Yandle ($4,400) – Yandle has three points and nine SOG in his last four games, but faces a Rangers team tonight that he is averaging 4.0 FPTS against in two prior meetings this season. He has one goal, four blocks and six shots against his former team so far this season and is running the Panthers’ top pair and the point on their top PP unit.

John Klingberg ($4,700) – Klingberg snapped a three-game scoring drought last night with a pair of assists, one on the PP. He also added three blocked shots to cap off a 5.5 FPT night. Klingberg has 10 points and is averaging 4.0 FPTS per game over his last 10 games.

Power Play Defensemen

Dougie Hamilton ($5,700) – Hamilton has already set career-highs this season in both assists (34) and points (45) and needs two more goals and three more PPP to set highs in those stats as well. He has points in three of his last five games scoring a goal, five assists, two PPP and 12 SOG in those five games.

Ryan McDonagh ($5,100) – McDonagh comes into tonight with points in two of his last three games and averaging 5.5 FPTS per night in that span. He has two goals, one assist, two special teams points and is garnering great peripherals with five blocked shots and 10 SOG. He only has four points in his last 10 games, but all four have come in his last five. He’s manning the Rangers’ top defense pair and running the point on the first PP unit.
