Chris Johnson’s progress was stopped. Yet he got back up and ran for a 62-yard gain. — Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) October 27, 2015
The Baltimore Ravens may not have enjoyed watching Chris Johnson tear up the field last night but I sure darn did. The past few years have been pretty rough for CJ2K, not just with getting his nickname changed to CJ?K but also nearly getting shot to death in the offseason. Who could’ve guessed there’s an actual fountain of youth in Arizona huh? From almost 6 feet under to 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards… that’s a helluva year folks!
Even without CJ’s hijinx the Ravens didn’t have much of a chance to win either. Even the good ole Eligible Lineman play didn’t work for them and continued to be the bane of their existence…
Check this out. Urschel clearly looked at the ref and reported… https://t.co/mBnCgl0lg1— Joe Wedra (@JoeWedra) October 27, 2015
I am very perplexed how the referee did not interpret that as reporting. He has to do it before entering the huddle, but he did. — Mike Pereira (@MikePereira) October 27, 2015
That combined with the Raven’s headsets losing signal in the final drive amounted to them earning the big fat L. There aren’t many excuses to throw out there when you’re 1-6 in a NFL season either so Steve Smith did the next best thing. He graded the officials last night like it was an online Yelp review.
Doesn’t appear that Steve Sr. is going to become a patron anytime soon…
