Madden Stream Results

Titans dominate Colts 30-3 in AFC South Madden Simulation — 3/31/20

Tennessee jumped out to an early lead in this one, and the Colts didn’t appear to ever have a chance. Most lineups atop the leaderboard rostered five Titans, with Marlon Mack ($8,400; 4.4 DKFP) the lone Colt. T.Y. Hilton ($9,000) was actually rostered in 54.4% of lineups, but failed to even register a sack. The Titans D/ST ($4,200; 21 DKFP) was a crucial value play, racking up two sacks, two picks and blocking a punt for a touchdown. Surprisingly, Derrick Henry ($10,800; 1.4 DKFP) hardly contributed to the onslaught. Ryan Tannehill ($10,000; 19.7 DKFP) and Delanie Walker ($7,000; 15.1 DKFP) were the stack that brought you to the top of the leaderboard.

Dolphins blowout the Colts to open up Monday Madden tripleheader — 4/6/20

Not many times during the NFL regular season could we say that Ryan Fitzpatrick ($10,400) and the Dolphins looked unstoppable. This was the case this afternoon. Fitzpatrick had four total touchdowns and scored a game-high 29.4 DKFP as Miami topped the Colts, 28-10. The targets were spread around as DeVante Parker ($9,400; 17.9 DKFP), Albert Wilson ($7,000; 16.9 DKFP) and Mike Gesicki ($7,800; 17 DKFP) all caught touchdowns. Apparently April is the time to build Dolphins’ stacks.

Unlikely hero helps Colts past Texans in Madden simulation — 4/9/20

Jacoby Brissett ($10,000; 16.6 DKFP) was terrible in his first two sims, but he broke out against Houston, passing for 215 yards and two touchdowns. The first score of the game went to Chester Rogers ($2,000; 17.3 DKFP), who finished with a 5-63-1 line at just 1.4% ownership. Only two lineups captained Rogers, but those lineups finished in a tie for fourth place. Brissett’s 24.9 DKFP at just 2.2% ownership in the captain spot wound up helping three lineups share first place. After a quiet start, T.Y. Hilton ($9,600; 14.3 DKFP) also got involved with a late TD. Kenny Stills ($5,400; 12.2 DKFP) made the big play for Houston, with his lone reception going for a 52-yard TD. A contrarian fade of DeAndre Hopkins ($11,200; 6.3 DKFP) proved to be the profitable strategy.

Steelers best Colts in a barn-burner Madden simulation — 4/14/20

Madden sims went to 8-minute quarters on Tuesday, and it resulted in some immediate fireworks between the Steelers and Chiefs. Pittsburgh wound up victorious, 38-34, in an insane back-and-forth battle. Vance McDonald ($7,000; 45.3 DKFP) was the headliner, posting a 10-143-3 line, earning 67.95 DKFP in the captain’s slot for the winning lineups. Ben Roethlisberger ($10,800; 36.06 DKFP) threw for over 400 yards and five touchdowns, also hitting Dionte Johnson ($3,600; 18.6 DKFP) and James Washington ($5,000; 18.4 DKFP) for deep scores. Jacoby Brissett ($9,800; 32.18 DKFP) also topped 400 yards with four touchdowns. T.Y. Hilton ($10,200; 37.2 DKFP) did the most damage for Indy in the loss, finishing with 7-152-2.

Rams take down Colts in Madden simulation — 4/21/20

Todd Gurley ($8,000; 21.5 DKFP) might have seen his overall rating in Madden fall from 97 to 86 over the course of the 2019 season, but that hasn’t stopped him from being one of the most consistent RBs during DraftKings’ simulations. Gurley would keep that trend going this afternoon in Los Angeles’ 20-13 victory over Indianapolis. While the Georgia product was once again stopped just short of reaching the 100-yards rushing plateau, Gurley finished with 115 scrimmage yards, four catches and a touchdown. It was also the second time he’s exceeded 20.0 DKFP in a single stream.

Colts top Jets in an action packed Madden simulation — 4/23/20

Who knew we’d see so much offense between these two teams? Even with the Jets falling, 35-32, Sam Darnold ($10,600; 28.28 DKFP) went for 332 yards and three touchdowns, peppering Jamison Crowder ($6,600; 36.9 DKFP) with targets. Crowder finished with a 9-129-2 line, and scored 55.35 DKFP at 2.3% ownership in the captain spot. Demaryius Thomas ($5,000; 20.6 DKFP) also went for over 100 yards through the air, while Le’Veon Bell ($8,800; 22.6 DKFP) rushed for 100 yards and a score. Nyheim Hines ($2,800; 30.1 DKFP) led the Colts as an elite value play, rushing for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns, hauling in three passes for another 54 yards.

Jacoby Brissett torches Broncos in simulated victory for Colts — 4/27/20

The Colts topped the Broncos in a 38-30 barnburner, as Jacoby Brissett ($10,800; 39.36 DKFP) stole the show. Brissett tossed five touchdowns, also hitting the 300-yard bonus with 344 passing yards. Brissett was just 2.9% owned as a captain, and scored over 59 DKFP for the winning lineup. A pair of those scores went to T.Y. Hilton ($10,200; 25.9 DKFP), who finished with a 7-69-2 line, but it was Chester Rogers ($2,000; 26 DKFP) that hijacked another Madden sim. Rogers already went off for a multi-score game, but this time posted a 4-118-1 line. Tim Patrick ($3,600;19.6 DKFP) was a solid WR value on the other side, but Phillip Lindsay ($8,200; 31.3 DKFP) finally went off in a sim. Lindsay rushed for 61 yards and two TDs, catching five passes for another 22 yards and a TD.

Bears keep the Colts off the scoreboard in shutout win — 4/29/20

This was an ugly game for the Colts. The only player who produced any fantasy value for them was Eric Ebron ($8,400; 23.3 DKFP), who went for over 100 receiving yards with the Colts playing from behind. For the Bears’ defense ($3,800; 14 DKFP), basically all of its scoring came from the shutout. Outside of that, the unit had a pair of sacks and an interception. Leading the Chicago offense, Mitchell Trubisky ($10,200; 18.42 DKFP) once again played well. Due to his rushing potential, he rarely ever has had a bad Madden sim game. He’s one of the top-scoring QBs and had 89 rushing yards today.

Colts defense grounds Falcons in 12-7 victory — 5/1/20

Fridays are for defense apparently, since the DSTs have started May with a strong showing in the first two simulations of the month. The Colts’ DST ($4,200; 8.0 DKFP) was only 0.3% owned in the Captain’s slot, but forced an interception and a safety while narrowly missing a shutout when Devonta Freeman ($7,800; 14.4 DKFP) scored a late touchdown. The Falcons’ offense was absent until the fourth quarter while Jacoby Brissett ($9,800; 13.88 DKFP), Eric Ebron ($7,200; 14.4 DKFP) and T.Y. Hilton ($10,000; 15.2 DKFP) all had decent games for Indy. Each of these teams is now 4-5 in their nine Madden sims.

Colts pull off miraculous comeback versus Patriots in Madden simulation — 5/9/20

This simulation was insane. Coming into the fourth quarter, Indianapolis found itself trailing New England by a seemingly insurmountable margin. It was 21-3 and the Colts had barely moved the ball all night long. Yet, by the time the final whistle blew, Jacoby Brissett ($10,400; 33.5 DKFP) had led his teammates to a stunning 25-21 victory. So, what happened? Well, to keep things brief, T.Y Hilton ($10,200; 43.2 DKFP) decided to take over. The veteran wideout scored a pair of touchdowns in the final eight minutes, including a beautiful catch on a 50-yard bomb from Brissett with fewer than one minute left in regulation. Hilton finished with eight catches for 182 yards.

Jacoby Brissett bests Cam as Colts crush Carolina– 5/10/20

The Colts went into Carolina and pulled out a 24-10 victory behind a big game from Jacoby Brissett ($10,000; 25.36 DKFP), who threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns while also running for a third score. T.Y. Hilton ($9,600; 15.8 DKFP) caught one of those scores and finished with 68 yards, and Chester Rogers ($1,400; 13.0 DKFP) was a great value with the other touchdown. DJ Moore ($9,000; 15.8 DKFP) almost exactly matched Hilton’s numbers as the best option from Carolina while Christian McCaffrey ($10,400; 10.5 DKFP) continued a trend of failing to live up to his hefty salary.

Redskins overwhelm Colts in Madden simulation– 5/12/20

Even in the world of virtual reality, I never would have guessed in a thousand years that Trey Quinn ($3,400; 38.0 DKFP) had the capacity for a performance like this. Washington’s offense was electric in the team’s 31-20 victory over Indianapolis, but no one could even hold a candle to what we saw from the Redskins’ slot wideout. Despite being held under 25 yards in three of his past five simulations, Quinn went off for eight catches, 210 yards and a touchdown. That’s right. Quinn, who has 273 career receiving yards in real-life, joined the 200 club this afternoon. As you would expect, it was also a great day for Dwayne Haskins ($10,000; 31.4 DKFP), as he’d finish with four TD passes.

Packers blowout the Colts to finish Friday night’s slate– 5/15/20

This game was one-sided from the start. Green Bay ended up winning 26-7 in a game that was never really competitive. The Packers’ standout performer was Davante Adams ($10,200; 26.1 DKFP). He caught a pair of touchdown passes and was the highest scoring fantasy player in the game. Of course, a big game for Adams meant a good night for Aaron Rodgers ($11,000; 19.12 DKFP). He may be feuding with the Packers in real life because of their draft picks, but it isn’t effecting his video game play. Rodgers racked up three touchdown passes in the win. For the Colts, T.Y. Hilton ($9,600; 19.4 DKFP) was the one player with a good fantasy game. He scored their only touchdown and had 94 receiving yards.

49ers grind out win in the rain– 5/20/20

In a rain game against the Colts, San Fran was able to wind down the clock on the strength of its run game. Tevin Coleman ($8,000; 17.4 DKFP) had another strong game on the ground. He rushed for exactly 100 yards and did most of his damage in the fourth quarter. The Niners set up the win by scoring early touchdowns through the air. Jimmy Garoppolo ($10,600; 21.94 DKFP) didn’t appear to be impeded by the weather and tossed a trio of touchdown passes, two of which were hauled in by Emmanuel Sanders ($9,800; 29.6 DKFP). Sanders also had 96 receiving yards and easily led all players in this contest in terms of fantasy production.

Jacoby Brissett and T.Y. Hilton have big games, but Colts lose, 24-18, to the Ravens– 5/24/20

Justin Tucker ($4,000; 6.0 DKFP) tacked on a totally meaningless FG as time expired to give the Ravens a six-point win over the Colts on Sunday afternoon. Lamar Jackson ($11,600; 17.74 DKFP) ran for a touchdown and 33 yards while throwing for 111 yards and a second score. Even though he lost, Jacoby Brissett ($10,800; 22.04 DKFP) had a better fantasy day connecting with Eric Ebron ($7,200; 22.6 DKFP) and Jack Doyle ($2,400; 10.10 DKFP) on two scores and throwing for 122 yards to T.Y. Hilton ($10,400; 23.2 DKFP). The difference in the game turned out to be the Ravens’ DST ($3,400; 10 DKFP), who had a critical defensive touchdown that helped overcome their mediocre day on offense.

Cowboys dominate Colts in all phases of Madden simulation– 5/26/20

The Colts essentially made one play in the entire 27-2 loss, and judging from the score, you can guess that it was a safety. Otherwise, the Cowboys had their way, led by Ezekiel Elliott’s ($9,400; 22.5 DKFP) 121 rushing yards and a touchdown. ‘Zeke was 22% owned as a CPT, but his 33.75 DKFP were needed in the winning lineup. The Cowboys’ D/ST ($4,400; 20 DKFP) was the slate’s best value, shutting Indy out offensively, and returning one of two turnovers for a score. Not much was needed through the air, but Amari Cooper ($10,200; 16.5 DKFP) still managed a 5-55-1 line. You needed to roster five Cowboys to have any shot at cashing, as all Colts plays were duds.

Colts offense pulls up lame as Buccaneers run away to 34-13 win– 5/31/20

Mike Evans ($10,000; 22.8 DKFP) hadn’t found the end zone in five straight sims, but he hauled in a pair of touchdowns against the Colts, as Tampa Bay coasted to a 34-13 road win. Winston ($10,800; 22.82 DKFP) ended up throwing three scores to go with his 258 passing yards. T.Y. Hilton ($9,600; 17.6 DKFP) had a spectacular catch for the Colts’ first touchdown, but then Indy repeatedly stalled out until Jacoby Brissett ($10,200; 15.42 DKFP) hit Eric Ebron ($8,800; 12.1 DKFP) with a mostly meaningless touchdown late. There was also a bit of unexpected excitement when the Bucs faked a FG with never-before-used-in-a-sim backup QB Blaine Gabbert ($6,000) running in a touchdown.
