The second and third rounds of the NFL draft took place on Friday night, and although it lacked the hype of the first-round, some very good players still got drafted.

This post has nothing to do with that, though, as most of the highlights weren’t about the picks. Here’s the best from Twitter:

Starting on a good note, Jim Kelly (who has been battling cancer) announced the Bills pick to a standing ovation from the crowd.

Another legend, Ickey Woods, came to the podium to give us the Bengals selection. He received an ovation too, but for a far different reason (and it had nothing to do with cold cuts).
Donald Driver had a little miscalculation.
But it still wasn’t as egregious as the Panthers’ miscalculation.
And finally, we’re all waiting to see how this plays out, but I’m still very excited to see the outcome.

The biggest news from the actual draft on day 2 was probably Randy Gregory sliding to the Cowboys at No. 60. Gregory is considered one of the best pass rushers in the draft and a player with top-10 potential. His off the field issues and failed drug test at the combine obviously were a HUGE hit to his value. Gregory had to convince Jerry Jones to select him according to ESPN, but this pick screamed Cowboys anyway.

Day 3 is Saturday … but it’s not like we have the Kentucky Derby, Clippers vs. Spurs Game 7 and the fight of the century to watch or anything.
