The NBA rolls on tonight with a five-game main slate, starting at 7:30pm EST, so here are some player considerations for tonight’s action. If you have any questions, reach out to me on Twitter @JasonWalkerDFS.

Point Guard

Stud

Eric Bledsoe – PHX vs. DAL – $7,100 – He has raw usage rates of over 26% in each of the last six games, with three 50+ DK point outputs in those six games. The projected total against Dallas is robust enough (206.5) to foresee a 40-45 DK point night here against Deron Williams, J.J. Barea and company.

Reggie Jackson – DET at GSW – $6,900 – Jackson, like Bledsoe, has also been over 26% raw usage in each of his last six games, with the 15 shots he took in a contextual dud against Sacramento last time out being the low water mark in shot attempts for Jackson. If the Pistons are going to keep up with the Warriors, it will likely be Jackson that is making that happen.

Other Options – Stephen Curry ($8,800), D’Angelo Russell ($6,200)

Value

Tony Parker – SAS vs. LAL – $4,700 – Parker has averaged 25.4% raw usage over the last seven games and has a soft matchup against the Lakers, at home, with a projected team total of 113 points tonight.

Isaiah Whitehead – BKN vs. NOP – $3,300 – Tourney only flyer here for me in this high pace, high total game. Whitehead’s raw usage has been nearly 22% over the last five games with 24 DK points per 30 minutes over that span.

Other Options – Deron Williams ($5,600), Langston Galloway ($3,000)

Shooting Guard

Stud

Dwyane Wade – CHI at NYK – $6,800 – How does the Dwyane Wade chalk taste? You will likely find out tonight, as Wade should be a very popular target with Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic out. Wade’s raw usage with those two players out and Rondo off the floor is nearly 39%. With Rondo ON the court with Wade, this ticks up slightly higher!

Klay Thompson – GSW vs. DET – $6,500 – He’s been playing huge minutes this season in Steve Kerr’s rotation and is coming off a day of rest in time to participate in this nearly 116 projected point team total tonight. He also has a 24% raw usage total over the last five games.

Other Options – Devin Booker ($6,200)

Value

Wesley Matthews – DAL at PHX – $4,700 – Starting shooting guard getting 35 minutes per game and averaging nearly two threes per game for less than $5K is a solid start for value. His individual matchup is also on the positive side, and the projected team/game totals are in place for a solid value here.

Tyreke Evans – NOP at BKN – $4,200 – Over the last five games, Evans has been at 26.2% raw usage and 33 DK points per 30 minutes. He is being eased back in but he went over 20 minutes (21) his last time out, and, if Anthony Davis is out tonight, they may push it a little more to make up the offense.

Other Options – Lou Williams ($3,900)

Small Forward

Stud

Carmelo Anthony – NYK vs. CHI – $7,300 – ‘Melo won’t have to face the defense of Jimmy Butler tonight, and he has a 30+ raw usage rate over the past five games. He should be closer to 22-25 shot attempts in this game, which will thrust him close to the 45 DK points we want from him at this salary in tournaments.

Kevin Durant – GSW vs. DET – $9,700 – He is averaging 37.5 minutes and 48 DK PPG over his last five games, despite seeing a reduction in raw usage (26% over same games). But few tonight have a higher ceiling, and his rotation gets him 31-32 minutes even in blowouts, locking him in as a solid floor play tonight.

Other Options – Tobias Harris ($6,300), Kawhi Leonard ($8,600)

Value

T.J. Warren – PHX vs. DAL – $4,400 – He’s tough to trust in cash games, as the desire of Earl Watson is to be as inconsistent with Warren’s playing time as possible. However, in tournaments, there are few players who can pop a 40 DK point night off the bench like Warren, as he has exceeded that mark four times this season. He is a mid 20s% raw usage player who can score 25-30 DK points easy if afforded 24-26 minutes, which he should get against the Mavs tonight.

Caris LeVert – BKN vs. NOP – $3,200 – Anything goes, minutes wise, for the Nets right now, but it looks like they want to see what they have in LeVert, who has played 24 minutes per game over his last three games. In those games, his raw usage has been 20% and he is scoring on a 30 DK per 36 minutes pace, including a 32 DKFP performance against CLE three games ago.

Other Options – Luol Deng ($4,000), Marcus Morris ($4,700), Denzel Valentine ($3,300)

Power Forward

Stud

Julius Randle – LAL at SAS – $7,100 – He’s averaged a 43 DKFP per 36 minutes pace over his last five games, with a solid 21% raw usage rate for the Lakers. The matchup is not premium, for sure, but his price and production still put him on the radar here.

Harrison Barnes – DAL at PHX – $6,700 – 28.1% raw usage and nearly 40 DK points per 36 minutes over the last five games for Barnes, who has locked himself in as the top option on the Mavs. This matchup with the Suns provides a large pace up for Dallas, helping Barnes to some extra possessions to use to get to that 40 point mark tonight.

Other Options – LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,100), Draymond Green ($7,600)

Value

Kyle O’Quinn – NYK vs. CHI – $3,300 – O’Quinn will likely be popular after his last game, where he had a double-double before the first quarter ended. He can be prolific, if given the minutes, which is always the mitigating factor when considering loading in on the KOQ. Joakim Noah is battling shoulder trouble, and maybe that means that Kyle will get 20-24 minutes, but that has rarely been the case with Knicks’ coach Jeff Hornacek. He’s a tourney option only for me.

Taj Gibson – CHI at NYK – $5,200 – Gibson has a cash game level floor here for me, as he should benefit slightly from the absence of Mirotic. However, it will only benefit Gibson slightly rebounding wise, per on/off court metrics. He managed a double-double good for 30.5 DKFP his last time out.

Center

Stud

Brook Lopez – BKN vs. NOP – $6,400 – Lopez has a raw usage of over 26% over the last five games, and he gets a very strong matchup here against what remains of the Pelicans’ front court. I think this makes Lopez a 40 DK point candidate and a strong value for a potential top scorer in a projected high scoring game.

Pau Gasol – SAS vs. LAL – $6,000 – Gasol is getting over a DK point per minute over his last five games and has a tremendous matchup against the Lakers, who give the third highest boost to opposing centers on the slate tonight.

Other Options –Andre Drummond ($7,500)

Value

Zaza Pachulia – GSW vs. DET – $3,400 – He is averaging a DK point per minute and 23 minutes per game over his last five games. The Warriors have begun to use Zaza in games against legit big men, of which the Pistons do employ.

Cristiano Felicio – CHI at NYK – $3,100 – If you believe Robin Lopez will play 26-28 minutes, then he would be the better choice here at $4,000. However, the Bulls have been pulling back RoLo’s minutes, evidenced by Felicio’s recent rise in playing time, and Felicio has averaged .86 DK points per minute over the last five games, making him a 25 DK point player candidate here if he splits minutes down the middle with RoLo tonight based on what is one of the best matchups for centers – the New York Knicks.

Other Options – Timofey Mozgov ($3,100)
