Game Flow Notes

Vegas Lines

HIGH O/U Kings vs. Lakers- It’s time to Boogie. With an awesome 215 total and a very close spread this game should be explosive. I am all about Boogie tonight as he has the best matchup of the evening. It should also be a good night for Kobe as he is scheduled to play. Julius Randle may also see an uptick in scoring as Larry Nance is doubtful.

LOW O/UJazz vs. Knicks- With a total of 187, the Jazz come in at the lowest scoring of the night. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as they have consistently been at the bottom all season. With Kristaps questionable, Carmelo could make for a great play. On the Jazz side of the ball it all comes down to injuries and tracking who will play and who won’t.

HIGH PACE Warriors vs. Bulls – The Bulls are usually a slower paced team the play around the post. However, the Warriors push the pace and play fast at all times. With a projected game pace of 102.5 this one should be blazing. Steph and Draymond are in play for the Warriors, just as Buckets and Pau are in play for the Bulls. I like the action in this one.

LOW PACECavaliers vs. Nets – Here we go again with the iso-ball. With a projected game pace of 94.3 this one should be slow. I look for Lebron to push most of the scoring and feel like there will be a lot of missed shots. Remember missed shots are good for BroLo, so he is also in play tonight.

Defense vs. Position

TARGET Stephen Curry vs. Derrick Rose- Curry gets up for contenders and the Bulls are one of the contenders in the east. Rose is ranked 26th against opposing PGs and will have all he can handle in the MVP tonight.

AVOID Tyler Johnson (SG) vs. John Wall – Johnson will play the point tonight due to injuries to Dragic and Udrih. The Wiz are ranked 7th against opposing PGs. I am uncomfortable playing a backup against an elite player like Wall no matter the value.

TARGETJimmy Butler vs. Klay Thompson- No, Butler hasn’t posted another 81 DK point game in the last couple, but he will be under the lights tonight. Butler will have to score and score a bunch to keep up with the reigning world champs. I have projected at 40 DK points, but could see him exceed value tonight.

AVOIDBradley Beal vs. Dwyane Wade Beal is yet to break the 25+ minute mark since returning from injury. Wade and the Heat are ranked 2nd against opposing SGs. At his price Beal needs 35+ DK points to hit around value. I think he comes in under tonight.

TARGET Kevin Durant Vs. P.J. Hairston- Durant has been a value hitting machine as of late. He gets a phenomenal matchup tonight against my Hornets. He should easily get value and if the Hornets can keep it close he could exceed by a lot.

AVOID Trevor Ariza vs. Marcus Morris – Trevor Ariza has been a depressing player this season. I loved running him out last year as he crushed value on a nightly basis. He gets the toughest SF matchup on the slate and is only projected at 22 DK points. I will be paying up tonight.

TARGET DeMarcus Cousins vs. Julius Randle – This is simple…you will see this name multiple times in this article. Boogie has the best matchup, the highest usage, and is a beast. That is all!

AVOID Thaddeus Young vs. Kevin Love – On paper Thad has a terrible matchup. The combo of Love and Thompson are ranked 4th against opposing PFs. Thad is projected right under value, but if you are looking to nail a GPP you will definitely need to look elsewhere.

TARGETNikola Vucevic vs. Jahlil Okafor Vuc had three 40 point games before having a dud during his last outing. He gets a great matchup tonight against the 76ers and should be looking at another 40+ DK performance.

AVOID Timofey Mozgov vs. Brook Lopez- Mozgov has been an anomaly and seems to still be hampered by injury. I don’t think he has hit value all season and he won’t start tonight. There are a lot better options on this slate.

Lineup Quick Hits

Superstar Worth Paying For

DeMarcus Cousins ($10,600) – I told you that you would see him all over the article. He should have his way with the Lakers tonight.

Save Big Bucks by Drafting

Julius Randle ($5,400) – Randle should get the start for a doubtful Larry Nance. The Kings have struggled to defend opposing PFs. He should hit value tonight and help save you money.

Dud of the Night

Jae Crowder ($6,700) – Crowder has come down from his 40 DK point run he was on. Crowder is projected at 25 DK points. I think it is a pay up night for SF.

Doubtful/Out

This is not a comprehensive list. Be sure to check for injury updates throughout the day

Beno Udrih – Out, Chris Anderson – Out, Goran Dragic – Out, Kris Humphries – Out, Dirk Nowitzki – Out, Raymond Felton – Out, Kevin Garnett – Out, Larry Nance – Doubtful/Out
