(LA Times) – The seventh-inning stretch was used to film a scene for the upcoming television series, “Fuller House,” a sequel to “Full House.” As Anderson was warming up, actress Jodie Sweetin called out to Giants outfielder Hunter Pence, then sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” “I didn’t know what the hell that was,” Anderson said. “That was terrible. I didn’t know if that was serious or what was happening.

“I thought it was just her being awful at signing. I had to collect myself there for a second.” Asked if he was a fan of “Full House,” Anderson replied, “I was, but I never watched it while I was pitching.”

First of all, LA Times… CLEAN IT UP. You’re supposed to be an institution of knowledge and goodly spelled words, and you can’t even spell “singing” right in a story ALL about singing? Also Brett Anderson STFU. You pitch in the NL and couldn’t muster an ERA under 3.50 and out of 31 starts you’ve only won 10.

Terrible writing and journeyman bums aside, the Full House cast (now known as Fuller House) showed up at a Dodgers-Giants game yesterday to film some hijinks for their new upcoming season. Included in this was Stephanie Tanner proclaiming her love for Hunter Pence… uhh Hunter Pence?

Did she learn NOTHING about finding a real man from Uncle Jesse??

Sure Brett Anderson had 7 scoreless innings going and PROMPTLY gave up 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning right after Steph’s swansong.. but this is FULL HOUSE we’re talking about here! San Francisco legends!!

And how you deny Hunter Pence some shine? That dude needs it more than anyone, outside of Dave Coulier maybe.
