Goodness gracious, there are home runs … there are ‘long’ home runs … and then there are O_____o home runs.

This would be one of the O_____o variety.

Miami Marlins Outfielder Giancarlo Stanton just hit a ball OVER THE LEFT FIELD PAVILION at Dodger Stadium. The ball was so annihilated that Dodgers Left Fielder Scott Van Slyke didn’t even move the moment it left the bat.

If you’re wondering how far the ball traveled, I have absolutely no clue. It is 330 feet to the left field foul pole at Dodger Stadium … and 385 feet to the left center field fence. Lord knows how tall and long the pavilion is, but, i imagine we’re talking ~530-foot range here.
