13 games, and a whole lot of Coors tonight. It really seems unfair to target Coors on a consistent basis, but the runs just don’t come at other places like they do in the Rocky Mountains. Let’s take a look at the top stacks for tonight’s MLB action.

Expensive Stacks

Colorado Rockies vs. Jeff Locke

Projected Team Total: 6 Runs

The Rockies put up 10 runs in defeat yesterday. They are back at Coors, which means it will cost you, but it’s just too hard to stay away. Locke is a LHP that will face a squad just loaded with righties. Locke has a 7.24 ERA so far on the season and has a 5.00 career ERA at Coors. He has a 1.218 OPS against RHB, which means bodes well for those Rockies’ bats. I like any combination of DJ LeMahieu, Ryan Raburn, Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs.Chad Bettis

Projected Team Total: 5.8 Runs

The Pirates also had a monster run total last night posting 12 runs on the scoreboard. Coming in hot to Coors is a great thing, and the Pirates will look to capitalize again tonight. The Pirates have seen their pricing go up, but Bettis scares me about as much as Locke does. He has an OPS of .735 against RHBs and a .528 against LHBs. I like John Jaso, Andrew McCutchen, David Freese and Starling Marte tonight.

Value Stacks

Boston Red Sox vs. Julio Teheran

Projected Team Total: 4.9 Runs

Turner Field has stayed in the top 10 for hitters in 2016, and Teheran is winless with an ERA of 5.64. He has also struggled against the Red Sox in his career, with Mookie Betts posting a 2.250 OPS against him. The Sox have a team handedness wOBA of .319, and I think they outperform their 5-run projected total. Besides Betts, I like David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia and Brock Holt tonight. Holt has a 2.500 OPS lifetime against Teheran and makes for a sneaky BvP play.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Kevin Gausman

Projected Team Total: 4.2 Runs

I hate using teams against my Orioles, but the projected total of 8 runs is enticing. They are playing at Tropicana Field, which is usually more suited for pitchers, but the Rays shown they can score runs at home. The Rays have a team handedness wOBA of .307 and an ISO of .147. Logan Forsythe and Evan Longoria both have homers off of Guasman in their careers, so they’re definitely in play for me. I also like Corey Dickerson, Steve Pearce and Brad Miller today.

Contrarian Stacks

New York Mets vs. Raisel Iglesias

Projected Team Total: 4 runs

I am stacking every team against the Reds this season until they prove me wrong. The Mets are favored at -220, and even with a low run total, I think the Mets put up most of the scoring. Iglesias has a 3.09 ERA this season, and the Reds have an extremely thin bullpen. I love Curtis Granderson, Michael Conforto, David Wright, Neil Walker and Asdrubal Cabrera tonight.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Zack Greinke

Projected Team Total: 3.6 Runs

Greinke hasn’t been great this season, but he had a decent performance his last game. I like the .318 handedness wOBA of the Cardinals, and I believe that even though the Diamondbacks are favored at -125, we will see a Card victory. Matt Carpenter and Matt Holliday have both performed well in the past against Greinke. I also like Brandon Moss and Matt Adams tonight, who both have positive handedness wOBAs.
