Portland Timbers @ Toronto FC
Game Analysis
The biggest news going into this game is the injury to Jozy Altidore. This week Jozy was diagnosed with another hamstring injury that will keep him out 4 to 5 weeks. Possible replacements to look for could be Luke Moore or Bright Dike, even though neither have had much success so far this season. Also this will put more pressure on Michael Bradley and Giovinco to carry the team while Jozy is out with his injury. As for Portland, they are getting healthier but the team isn’t playing any better. Last week they were destroyed by Houston and they better hope the return of midfielder WIll Johnson sparks the entire team, as they are in dire need of a win.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:-115 , u:-115 )

Players to Watch
* Diego Valeri, Portland Timbers ($6,700)
* Fanendo Adi, Portland Timbers ($7,600)
* Giovinco, Toronto FC ($10,100)
* Michael Bradley, Toronto FC ($6,400)

DC United @ New England Revolution
Game Analysis
The Revolution will return home after their surprising midweek loss to Sporting KC. Juan Agudelo scored midweek taking his tally to four on the year, but they did lose Andy Dorman to a red card. DC United, also coming off a bad loss, were unable to score against the worst defense in the MLS last week in Philadelphia. I expected Chris Rolfe and Jairo Arrieta to make up for the loss of Fabian Espindola, but last week showed that I may have been wrong. I expect both teams to come out firing on all cylinders after their bad losses and the only question will be which of the plethora of attackers will score this week.
Line: New England Revolution (-1/2) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:-105 , u:-125 )

Players to Watch
* Chris Rolfe, DC United ($7,800)
* Chris Pontius, DC United ($7,000)
* Juan Agudelo, New England Revolution ($8,100)
* Charlie Davies, New England Revolution ($8,700)

FC Dallas @ Montreal Impact
Game Analysis
As Montreal look to catch up to the rest of the MLS, they will face a tough FC Dallas team this week at home. Last week, Montreal returned in style against RSL as they put four goals past USMNT goalie Nick Rimando. Andres Romero starred as he scored two goals, but attacker Dominic Oduro went down will a groin injury and will miss today’s game. Dallas have earned a point in five straight games now and I expect them to have plenty of opportunities to score this week mainly because they have star forward Fabian Castillo who can transform a game at any second.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:-105 , u:-125 )

Players to Watch
* Fabian Castillo, FC Dallas ($10,000)
* Mauro Diaz, FC Dallas ($8,200)
* Andres Romero, Montreal Impact ($5,900)
* Jack McInerney, Montreal Impact ($6,300)

Vancouver Whitecaps @ Colorado Rapids
Game Analysis
Vancouver is only one point behind FC Dallas in the Western Conference and should have a chance to catch them this week against the bottom feeders in Colorado. Both teams are fairly healthy as a majority of Vancouver’s injury notes are probable for Saturday’s match. Colorado haven’t given up many goals, but they also are still struggling to score them. I expect Vancouver to dominate this game in the midfield and look for Octavio Rivero to get on the board once again.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:+115 , u:-150 )

Players to Watch
* Octavio Rivero, Vancouver Whitecaps ($8,900)
* Pedro Morales, Vancouver Whitecaps ($8,600)
* Gabriel Torres, Colorado Rapids ($6,600)
* James Riley, Colorado Rapids ($3,500)

Sporting KC @ Seattle Sounders
Game Analysis
Seattle may once again be without Obafemi Martins, but a surprise player stepped up in his absence. Chad Barrett emerged out of nowhere last week, scoring two goals before being subbed off late in the second half. Sporting KC put on a show midweek, scoring four goals, including a stunning turn and strike by Dom Dwyer. Krisztian Nemeth also added to his impressive start to the season scoring two more goals and taking over Dom Dwyer for the team lead in goals. They may also see the return of Graham Zusi and Roger Espinoza to the midfield, as both were missing midweek with injuries. This will be a very exciting game especially in front of the 40,000 plus in Seattle.
Line: Seattle Sounders (-1/2) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:EVEN , u:-130 )

Players to Watch
* Dom Dwyer, Sporting KC ($8,400)
* Krisztian Nemeth, Sporting KC ($6,100)
* Clint Dempsey, Seattle Sounders ($10,500)
* Marco Pappa, Seattle Sounders ($6,600)

New York City FC @ Real Salt Lake
Game Analysis
Neither of these teams have played well so far this season which leads me to believe this game might be an offensive struggle. Luckily for Real Salt Lake, their little spark plug, Joao Plata may finally return from his lengthy injury spell. Also midfielder Javier Morales may return from his concussion that has plagued him so far this season. New York City FC saw the return of David Villa a few weeks ago, but he still is yet to show up on the scoresheet since his return. It’s only a matter of time that he finds the back of the net and what better time to do it than against an RSL team that gave up four goals last week.
Line: Real Salt Lake (-1/2) O/U: 2 1/2 (o:+110 , u:-140 )

Players to Watch
* David Villa, New York City FC ($9,900)
* Mehdi Ballouchy, New York City FC ($6,400)
* Javier Morales, Real Salt Lake ($7,600)
* Jordan Allen, Real Salt Lake ($6,500)
