One game yesterday, five games today, and three more tomorrow makes for a great weekend of Major League Soccer. As we look at today’s MLS Game Breakdown I will be analyzing some injury concerns, point out some key players who are still at the Gold Cup, and look for potential breakout players. Also follow me on Twitter (@jwl_15) for injury and lineup updates throughout the day.

Toronto FC @ Columbus Crew
Game Analysis
Columbus will look to continue their solid play at home this weekend against the always dangerous Toronto FC. If anyone has a more prolific offense than Toronto FC it is the Columbus Crew and the attack of Ethan Finlay, Kei Kamara, and Federico Higuain. The return of Wil Trapp has helped the defense so far, but they will be put to the test on Saturday. Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore are still one of the top attacking duos, even with the recent struggles of Altidore. Michael Bradley will miss the game due to the Gold Cup, but Marco Delgado has played well in his absence. Expect this game to be a very entertaining one and I would expect multiple goals to be scored on Saturday.
Line: Columbus Crew (-1) O/U: 3 (o: +103, u: -147)

Players to Watch
* Marco Delgado, Toronto FC ($5,100)
* Sebastian Giovinco, Toronto FC ($12,000)
* Kei Kamara, Columbus Crew ($10,500)
* Ethan Finlay, Columbus Crew ($8,500)

Seattle Sounders @ Montreal Impact
Game Analysis
Seattle is in a downward spiral right now as both Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey continue to be missing from the starting lineup. They were then given the news that Marco Pappa received a DUI this week, which will likely lead to a multiple game suspension. This will not help a team that has struggled to score as of late and have lost six of their last seven matches. They will now head north of the border to Montreal and play a team that is desperately looking to move into a playoff position in the Eastern Conference. Montreal may have Kyle Bekker available after trading for him last week, but his role is undetermined as of now. Expect Montreal to try to pick up a cheap win against what is likely the team in the worst form right now.
Line: Montreal Impact (-1) O/U: 2 ½ (o: -104, u: -139)

Players to Watch
* Lamar Neagle, Seattle Sounders ($7,000)
* Tyrone Mears, Seattle Sounders ($5,800)
* Dominic Oduro, Montreal Impact ($6,400)
* Andres Romero, Montreal Impact ($5,600)

New England Revolution @ Chicago Fire
Game Analysis
New England finally got their win they so desperately need last week, and will look for a second in a row against a struggling Chicago Fire. Lee Nguyen led the Revolution last week with a goal and the potential return of Jermaine Jones may only spark the Revolution as they go into the All-Star break. Jones is traveling with the team, but still may not be ready to return to the field on Saturday. Also defenders Kevin Alston, Jose Goncalves, and Darius Barnes will miss this game due to injuries and suspensions. As for Chicago, the return of David Accam has been huge, but injuries to Shaun Maloney and Jeff Larentowicz will definitely hurt their changes. Fortunately, New England have struggled on the road this season, which will only provide more hope for the Fire as they look to end their two game losing streak.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 2 ½ (o: -132, u: -109)

Players to Watch
* Lee Nguyen, New England Revolution ($8,400)
* Diego Fagundez, New England Revolution ($5,000)
* David Accam, Chicago Fire ($4,500)
* Joevin Jones, Chicago Fire ($4,200)

LA Galaxy @ Houston Dynamo
Game Analysis
The LA Galaxy will look to continue their recent dominance in Houston on Saturday. They will be missing some key players once again with Robbie Rogers suspended and Gyasi Zardes, Alan Gordon, Omar Gonzalez, Jaime Penedo, and Giovani Dos Santos on international duty. Steven Gerrard’s debut last week was one for the storybooks. Add him to a roster with Robbie Keane and Sebastian Lletget, and things will once again go very well for the Galaxy on Saturday. The Dynamo will be without Kofi Sarkodie, Jermaine Taylor, Oscar Boniek Garcia, Giles Barnes, and DeMarcus Beasley. Newly acquired Sheanon Williams will have to be ready to join the depleted defense in order for Houston to have any chance. With 75% of their backline missing, they will have a difficult time stopping the dangerous attack of the Galaxy.
Line: LA Galaxy (-1/2) O/U: 2 ½ (o: -105, u: -137)

Players to Watch
* Robbie Keane, LA Galaxy ($11,000)
* Steven Gerrard, LA Galaxy ($8,400)
* Will Bruin, Houston Dynamo ($7,200)
* Brad Davis, Houston Dynamo ($8,300)

Portland Timbers @ FC Dallas
Game Analysis
FC Dallas is riding a four game win streak which has skyrocketed them to the top of the difficult Western Conference. They will still be without Blas Perez on Saturday, but Bakary Soumare may be available after being acquired in a trade last week. As for Portland, they made a big signing midweek with Lucas Melano joining the team. The Argentine international is still young and very established in the Primera Division. He may not be match ready just yet, but when he is he will provide a huge spark to an attack that has been inconsistent all season. Will Johnson is suspended, which will hurt, since he has been the rock in the midfield since returning from his injury. Portland will have to be in top form on Saturday if they want a chance to beat the red hot Dallas team in the Texas heat.
Line: FC Dallas (-1/2) O/U: 2 ½ (o: =103, u: -112)

Players to Watch
* Diego Valeri, Portland Timbers ($9,200)
* Darlington Nagbe, Portland Timbers ($6,400)
* Fabian Castillo, FC Dallas ($10,600)
* Mauro Diaz, FC Dallas ($8,900)
