Welcome to the NIT Final 4!  Haha, it just does not sound as great as the traditional Final Four.  With that said there is plenty of tournament action to get in on tonight.

Game Analysis

The first game brings us Miami taking on Temple with an O/U of 139.5, which is the higher of the two games tonight. Temple is favored by just 1.5 points tonight so this game should be very close and I think just about everybody is in play from this game.  The second game of the night brings us Stanford taking on Old Dominion with an O/U of 135.5. Stanford is favored by 2.5 points tonight so this game should be very close as well.

GUARD TARGETS

Studs

Trey Freeman, Old Dominion ($9,400) – Freeman bounced back from his ankle injury and managed to put up 35.25 fantasy points against Murray St.  This was 2 games after he put up 47.75 fantasy points.  He has gone for 35+ fantasy points in 6 of his last 10 games and is Old Dominion’s best shot at moving on to the NIT Finals Tuesday night.

Will Cummings, Temple ($8,200) – Cummings has put up 99.75 fantasy points over his last 3 and is capable of going off for 45+ fantasy points on any given night. Miami’s perimeter defense has taken a hit with the loss of Angel Rodriguez and I think Cummings could end up being the number 1 play of the night.  He is an excellent free throw shooter and should offer a handful of made FT’s late, which can really shoot you up in the last seconds of this game.

Anthony Brown, Stanford ($7,800) – Brown exploded the last game out and managed to finish with 43.5 fantasy points and his salary jumped a huge $100 following that performance.  I have been on Brown all season long and he is certainly capable of putting up duds from time to time but his last game showed us what he is capable of on any night. Randle makes a great play as well, however I love Brown for $1.2K less.

Values

Aaron Bacote, Old Dominion ($4,700) – I like Bacote and Mosley tonight from Old Dominion and would not fault you for going with either.  I lean Bacote because of the fact that he is not afraid to fire away from any where on the court. He has not blown us away recently with any amazing games and I think that will keep him under owned. He’s an aggressive guard and could certainly find himself at the foul line 7+ times tonight thanks to the propensity of the Stanford interior to foul.

Manu Lecomte, Miami ($4,900) – Lecomte got into foul trouble and finished with just 18 minutes of action the last time out but in the 2 games prior to that he played a total of 64 minutes and managed to put up 51.75 fantasy points.  He has been an extremely volatile GPP option of late as his point totals have ranged from 1.25 to 28.25.  I think he will be slightly under owned because of his terrible performance the last time out and the fact that Ja’Quan Newton went for 20.25 points in that game.

FORWARD TARGETS

The Forward position is pretty up in the air tonight so I will give you some insight on a few of the guys I am looking at.

Jaylen Bond, Temple ($5,400) – Bond let a number of us down the last time out as he went for just 14.75 points thanks to some foul trouble and I think he has the chance to bounce back and offers us 35 fantasy point upside tonight against a Miami interior that is not all that intimidating.

Jonathan Arledge, Old Dominion ($4,900) – Arledge has put up 75.5 fantasy points over his last 3 games and we have seen his price jump $1.4K over that span. With that said, he has the ability to get us more than a point per minute of action and could certainly explode again.  He does offer some foul trouble worries but at just $4.9k he can certainly return more than 4x value against Stanford.

Reid Travis, Stanford ($4,200) – Travis’ minutes have fluctuated quite a bit over the last few weeks and that makes him an excellent GPP option Tuesday night.  He is an extremely talented freshman who has a bright future in the Pac-12. Two games ago he went for a 10 and 10 double double, which lead to 24 fantasy points.  I really wish I was able to write about Humphrey as he had some big games while he was getting minutes but his ankle injury has just left him off of the court and I have not heard any news about him possibly returning.

That’s what we have for today, and hopefully its a great day for you guys.  Hit me up on twitter (@Razzle11Grinds) if you have any questions or even news to share.  I will certainly do my best to share injury news.
