Update: 10 Different Fantasy Owners Have Won $1,000,000 First Place Prizes on DraftKings This Year

Drew “Dinkpiece” Dinkmeyer narrowly edged out the competition on Monday night to take home the $1,000,000 first place prize in the DraftKings Millionaire Maker Championship. Dinkpiece entered Monday Night Football needing less than two points from Chicago Bears wideout Marquess Wilson to takeover first place. Dink also faced other challengers who had Saints players such as Pierre Thomas, or Nick Toon. It would be one of the most memorable Monday nights ever.

While Drew took an early lead on Marquess Wilson’s first two catches, he was soon overtaken by an owner who had Pierre Thomas when he scored a touchdown in the second quarter. But no one was happier when Marquess Wilson scored his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter to regain the lead for Drew.

His full winning lineup can be found below:

Though it was Wilson that eventually gave him the lead in the 4th quarter, he got into that position with huge games from Eli Manning, Jeremy Hill, Odell Beckham Jr. and Dez Bryant. The entry fee for the contest was only $27– needless to say, Drew has to be happy with his investment. And Wilson’s base salary for the 2014 season? $495,000.
