Remember that horse named American Pharoah who won the Triple Crown in 2015? You know, the one who looks like this…

Anyways: the 2015 Breeders Cup Challenge Series is underway, and American Pharoah showed up for the $1.75 million purse Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, NJ today.

Many experts wondered if American Pharoah would be hungover from his historic Triple Crown/Belmont Stakes (presented by Draft Kings) victory coming into the highly-touted race, but, I think we can all agree that this monster kept drinking right through it, even if he did, and refused to let this awesome year-long rager die…

American Pharoah and Victor Espinoza will likely race again later this month/in September before heading to Keeneland for the largest purse in American horse racing: the $5 Million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
