I’m not going to warn you because the videos and photos in this post aren’t really that graphic. I’m not trying to shield your delicate sensibilities. But even if I was going for shock value, I don’t have too. That’s why God invented Youtube and 4Chan. Go there for crazy. Here, I use mainly words for my crazy.

With that said; don’t you dare try to tell me soccer isn’t a rough sport.

Don't tell me this didn't smart.

Yes, there is flopping. And the ref’s and rule makers have been doing a better job ignoring the lamenting and gnashing of teeth from the “assault” victims on the pitch. In fact, there are rules against it.

Flopping and embellishment occurs regardless of the sport. It’s become such a problem that the NBA has started to address the issue. Known for perfecting “the Flop”, Vlade Divac has offered to critique suspected flops.

Any sport played to its highest level demands sacrifice from the players. Sacrifice is paid by the body. Every athlete deserves a bit of respect for putting their bodies on the line.

Except for golfers. Golf isn’t a sport; it’s a lesson in absurd frustration. Why spend so much time trying to get a small white ball into a hole just to walk up to the hole and pluck the ball back out? SMH.

So here’s a quick collection of clips and hits.

And Goalies stand IN FRONT OF THE FRIGGIN TARGET!!

Even fans can fire things off onto the pitch; here’s a tweeted picture of Jozy Altidore getting flipped off by an opposing fan.

Till next time, keep your powder dry and follow me @deepdfspicks.
