This Sunday: Chelsea, while being managed by Jose Mourinho, was defeated by Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal squad for the first time in fourteen attempts.

To say there is “no love lost” between the two managers would be an unfathomable understatement. The two have spat at each other through the media for years, and even gotten physical at times…

This is just an appetizer of the main course disdain the two have for each other. Mourinho relentlessly taunts Wenger about being winless vs. him, every opportunity he gets.

Fast-forward to the Community Shield match on Sunday at Wembley Stadium: OMFG ARSENAL ACTUALLY WON ONE!!!

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the only goal of the game for the gunners in the first half…

and that was all she wrote…

Arsenal, champions of (preseason exhibition) English football!

Well, that was it I guess — Arsenal took their silverware and marched back to Emirates Stadium in a blaze of glory. NOPE, TROLLSE MOURINHO COMIN’.

The story following the match, as always, was Mourinho…who shook the hand of every single Arsenal player/member EXCEPT Wenger:

Jose then decided to throw his second-place medal into the stands into disgust, shortly after accepting it from the FA committee…

I’m not sure what “The Perfect Picture” on the internet is, but, this has to pretty damn close…

In re: to the incident(s), Mourinho said at the post match press conference:

“You see the images, you see where I am. (I was) there for the winners, to wait for them in a point where you only miss me if you want to miss me.

Every Arsenal player came in my direction, which was the easiest thing to do.

If other people didn’t come in my direction, that’s not a problem, that’s not a story, that’s not the end of the world.

The best team lost. And the defensive team won.”
