Check all goalie starters with beat writers, Left Wing Lock, NHL Goalie Starters, etc. because we wound up having to get information on Ondrej Pavelec at the last minute. Do not make the rookie mistake. Check social media always!

Alex Stalock ($6,800) – There are six games on the schedule but the San Jose goalie has the best matchup in theory. There is San Jose’s tendency to play down to their level of competition. Choices were bad on Sunday but a little better on Monday. Will Stalock face enough rubber? That is an excellent question. No one really has that answer but San Jose should be able to score at least two or three goals on Cory Schneider who will be playing.

Others to consider: Roberto Luongo ($8,200), Devan Dubnyk ($7,300),  — Playing with Dubnyk or even say Brian Elliott might be fire but hey sometimes you have to come close to getting burned.

Joe Pavelski ($6,700) – There is no excuse for this and basically just ride the value and keep going with it. Pavelski has five points in his last three games against New Jersey and seems to like playing against them. The Devils are not the same team they were even earlier in the season so San Jose may have some lucrative options. The only thing limiting that is a healthy Cory Schneider. However, San Jose should be able to score a few times anyway. Pavelski has six goals in his last ten games and his power play presence is too prominent to pass up this price.

Anze Kopitar ($6,500) – Kopitar has 12 points in his last ten games and has had to take up the scoring slack after most of Los Angeles has struggled. Marian Gaborik has found the chemistry with the center that they had in the playoffs. It is clear that teams that try to gear to stop them have difficulty. The price per point value is pretty close given how the pivot has played in the last four weeks. He is more or less a must start in 4-6 game slates like tonight.

Others I like: Sean Monahan ($5,100), Paul Stastny ($4,700), Mikko Koivu ($4,500).

Value: Scott Gomez ($2,800), Mark Letestu ($2,500).

Vladimir Tarasenko ($8,000) – Let’s run with this! Tarasenko seemed to be a threat every time he touched the puck the last time he played Colorado in St. Louis. Why not go with him again. The sniper just has that knack and even if he does not score, he finds a way to pile on the shots on goal and even a couple blocked shots. Most are going with line one. Sometimes you have to go a bit different.

Marian Gaborik ($5,700) – The winger has real chemistry with Anze Kopitar. Also, they almost have to go it alone at times or it feels that way. The fun part will be as they play Calgary is this. It will be a Kings top line that gets tons of chances. Calgary will bend but can Gaborik and Kopitar make them pay? This could be a little more up and down at times and it also could be a little slow paced at times too.

Nick Foligno ($5,000) – Prices like this are just too funny. This winger is gold with Ryan Johansen as the two have gone on this scoring streak almost together. The duo clicks and even with Scott Hartnell, they just tend to find the back of the net once some way, some how. Minnesota is feeling better about themselves but this Columbus first line can be scary. Look out Wild!

Others I like: Radim Vrbata ($5,200), Jiri Hudler  ($4,400), Johnny Gaudreau ($4,400).

Value: Daniel Winnik ($2,900), Tomas Kopecky ($2,500).

Kevin Shattenkirk ($6,000) – Defense prices are almost insane too! With some value adjusted, Keith is still a solid alternative at a pretty good price. It may not be the most brilliant play but it is only a little under 450 above an average Draftkings slot price. Block some shots, shoot a few, and maybe nab an assist and that makes a night. See selections below and watch at St. Louis has a bit of an advantage because they are playing Colorado.

Ryan Suter ($4,600) – Welcome back Mr. Suter! The question is now what is his mental state. Hopefully the two game winning streak while he was suspended got him itching to be back in the lineup and ready to contribute. He will be back on the first pairing and getting his minutes. Now Suter has to toss some shots out there and get a few helpers. It’s like riding a bike.

Others I like: Drew Doughty ($5,400), Aaron Ekblad ($4,400), Marco Scandella ($3,300).

Value:  Dmitry Kulikov ($2,800), Matt Greene ($2,500).
