We head into Hump Day. There are only four games tonight so the playbook is a little short. Do not worry, we will have more on Twitter as news breaks.

This could be nuts! Let’s go!

Braden Holtby ($8,800) – Holby will be making his 26th consecutive appearance and shows no signs of slowing down for a Washington team that just keeps on rolling. Winning is the bottom line. Buoyed by two shootouts and a few clunkers in between, the goalie is still 8-1-2 over the last 3+ weeks. There are not too many good options but the Washington goalie just seems a little better than the rest. Think wisely knowing that Philadelphia scored seven against Tampa Bay but may have shot its load so to speak. Holtby is a pretty damn good start.

Others to consider: Frederik Andersen ($8,600). — We have to wait on the LA game to see if Jones starts and not Quick. Though it is New Jersey so you may take a gamble either way.

Ryan Johansen ($7,500) – There is just something about Columbus and this first line that you just cannot pass them up even with the increased price. Nick Foligno would be a good idea to stack with Johansen as well. Six goals and six assists in his last ten games underlies the simple fact that the center must shoot more. He has 18 power play points on the season and shows little signs of slowing down. Montreal will make goals difficult to come by but this is a physical line that can give Montreal fits.

Jeff Carter ($5,500) – Carter got two assists in what was a very boring game against Toronto to be honest. The center now has 32 points on the season and with the way the lineup looks for Los Angeles, the Kings are going to need Carter to come up big. Hey, here comes in a New Jersey team that cannot score and without Jaromir Jagr. This looks like a Christmas gift wrapped in a bow. There may be other Kings players to take as well. Just stick and stay and we will point you in the direction.

Others I like: Anze Kopitar ($7,100), Nazem Kadri ($4,200).

Value: Jay Beagle ($2,700), Chris VandeVelde ($2,500).

Marian Gaborik ($5,700) – Yes we have gone mad and chose the entire “Million Dollar Line”. Let’s be honest, New Jersey’s best player might be Cory Schneider and this West Coast trip does not shape up too well for him. Gaborik has seven goals in the last ten games including a whopping four on the power play. That is significant and Los Angeles will just have to fight for every inch especially if Jonathan Quick is in net. IT will just be that kind of night.

Wayne Simmonds ($5,600) – Who knows what might happen here? However, Simmonds has 16 points on the power play and always seems to excel against Washington. This will be a fun game to see how the right winger performs. It is kind of a test. Now can he find a way to play a little better at even strength? The potential is still there but at some point things have to click 5 on 5. The key will be the first ten minutes but this is a game that could be in the wheelhouse.

Others I like: Corey Perry ($6,900), Troy Brouwer ($4,300), Kyle Palmieri ($3,800).

Value: Daniel Winnik ($2,900), Joe Whitney ($2,500).

Drew Doughty ($6,500) – Defense prices are not too bad on Monday night and Doughty has been much better of late despite playing over 30 minutes a night over what feels like the last month. Someone has to score in Los Angeles and something tells me a trade still may be brewing. However, at least on Wednesday night, they play New Jersey which like “Brodeur Night” should spark something. Hey, anything is possible after all!

Sami Vatanen ($4,700) – It is a night that boring hockey could go out the window as Anaheim can draw a team into a loony pace at almost any time. For a good while, the defenseman struggled but on Teemu Selanne night, he had two points and the game winner in the shootout. It was a magical night and maybe this sparks the scoring touch one more time. Toronto comes into town and this shapes up to be a wacky one. At some point, the Maple Leafs start playing like the Maple Leafs used to.

Others I like: , Mark Streit ($4,900), Cody Franson ($4,800).

Value:  Kevin Connauton ($2,700), Jon Merrill ($2,500).
