This article will identify the best line-stacking combos to use for fantasy hockey purposes every night. Considering that at least one player on a forward line will often get an assist on a goal when his line mate scores, stacking players from the same line can prove very fruitful for fantasy purposes. Use these targets to help identify some of your best options ever night.
High Priced First lines
Thomas Plekanec ($6200) – Max Pacioretty ($8100) – Brendan Gallagher ($5900)
This line has kept rolling for the Canadians and keeps being one of the most reliable lines for fantasy purposes all season. The Canadians top trio has been one of the most used top lines in hockey through this point in the season and one of the main reasons for MTL’s success too. Tonight with their star goalie returning and keen to end a short losing skid this line is in a good spot to put up a big night. The Isles have been solid this season but with the Canadians first line getting so much ice time I think they still make a solid choice. They’re a good stack target on this medium-short slate.

Adam Henrique ($4700) – Lee Stempniak ($3700) – Mike Cammalleri ($5100)
The Devils have been one of the most surprising teams in the NHL so far in 2015-16 and tonight they’ll look to keep the good times rolling versus Edmonton who has allowed at least four goals in their last three games. I like stacking with this line because they are playing together in all situations, including the PP and when one scores one of the other players is almost always involved as a playmaker. This line has 9 points in their last two games and for me are one of the best targets on the entire slate at their severely reduced price point. All are good value targets but consider playing the trio together for tournaments as a big night from all three is very possible.

Jeff Carter ($6100) – Tyler Toffoli ($6000) – Milan Lucic ($4600)
The Red Wings have been pretty stingy in terms of allowing goals but they’re still 23rd in shots against and might have trouble with the size and skill of the Kings tonight. This line has been the main source of scoring for the Kings all season and lately both wingers Tyler Toffoli and Milan Lucic have been heating up, with Lucic potting goals in three straight games. While many fantasy players might go targeting some of the weaker teams on tonight’s slate using this scoring line could easily give you an edge up in GPPs and tournaments if they were to have a big night. I like the fact this suddenly very productive trio will be low owned and am making them one of tournament targets for the slate.
