With a stacked 10-game docket of NHL action for tonight’s schedule, DraftKings hockey players will have a plethora of talent at their disposal to fill-out their lineups. There are some top players and lines out there tonight with teams like the Blackhawks, Blues, and Sharks all in action. Let’s take a look at some of the best line stacks available tonight.

Top Stacks

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING (VS DETROIT)

Tampa Bay Line Stacks - March 22nd

The Lightning top line has been powering this team down the stretch and is a great play tonight against the Red Wings at home. Stamkos and Kucherov are tied for the team lead in points with 58 on the year. Stammer had hit a rough patch for the early part of the month when he only had one point in his first six games of March. He has come on strong lately with points in three of his last four games, with two multi-goal games against the Blue Jackets and Stars. Kucherov has been equally as consistent as Stamkos this season, and, as of late, has been even better with nine points in his last 10 games. The two have combined for 33 multi-point games this season and have found a solid chemistry together.

Killorn has had his ups and downs this season, but he is riding a two-game assist streak playing with the two top playmakers and has three assists in his last two outings. They have a tough matchup tonight against the Red Wings, but they do have a slightly easier route going against Jimmy Howard, who has allowed eight goals against in his last three starts, and has a 2.76 GAA on the season.

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS (@ COLUMBUS)

Claude Giroux ($7,000) – Wayne Simmonds ($6,800) – Brayden Schenn ($5,500)

Remember early in the season when almost everyone was picking the Flyers to miss the playoffs by a decent margin? Well, this line and the Flyers as a whole must not have gotten that memo because they are out to prove everyone wrong for doubting them. Coming off a 4-1 drubbing of the Islanders last night in Brooklyn, the Fly Guys head to Columbus for a matchup with the Blue Jackets and former starter Sergei Bobrovsky. They have been one of the most consistent and underrated scoring lines in the league as of late, with the trio combining for 29 points in their last 10 games, quite the number.

“They have been one of the most consistent and underrated scoring lines in the league as of late”

The breakdown on those games has 10 points for both Giroux and Schenn and nine points for Simmonds. All three have points in three of their last four games, and the trio just happens to be the three leading scorers for the Flyers this season. They have had success against the lowly Blue Jackets this season, combining for four points in three prior contests. As was said above, they are facing former teammate Sergei Bobrovsky, who is starting another game for Columbus since coming off IR. Bob has struggled since his return, allowing 13 goals against in his first four starts. This line is one of the top lines of the night, and had it not been for the Hawks top line, probably would be my top line of the evening.

Mid-Level Stacks

SAN JOSE SHARKS (VS ST. LOUIS)

San Jose Stacks - March 22nd

Another underrated line that has not gotten a ton of love is the Sharks line of Pavelski, Thornton, and Hertl. Thornton continues to prove that he is one of the best pure playmakers in the entire league still at the age of 36 and has points in nine of his last 10 games. He is tied for second in the league with Kuznetsov and Kane with 53 assists and is eighth in the league in scoring overall with 70 points.

Pavelski is chomping at his heels with 69 on the year, making the Sharks only the second team to have two players inside the top-10 in the scoring behind Seguin and Benn from the Stars. Pavelski has points in three of his last five with two multi-point games. Hertl has blossomed next to these two and is a legitimate top-70 player in the league, as long as he is on this wing. He has taken a step forward in the second half of the year and is currently riding a five-game point streak that includes a three-assist game against the Rangers over the weekend.

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS (VS DALLAS)

Jonathan Toews ($5,400) – Marian Hossa ($5,400) – Andrew Ladd ($5,200)

They may be a mid-level price tonight compared to the other line stacks above, but this line is my top of the night. The trio looked solid when it was put together over the weekend for the Blackhawks against the Wild, despite being held off the scoresheet in the Hawks’ shootout loss. Toews and Ladd have been playing together for the majority of the time that Ladd has been in Chicago, and the two have done some damage. Toews has seven points in 10 games that Ladd has been in the lineup, including an assist on Ladd’s goal in Winnipeg last week.

Ladd has looked solid in a Hawks uniform with five points in 10 games and has added 20 shots on goal. Hossa took a few games to get back into the flow of things and shake the rust, but he had goals in back-to-back games before being shutout against the Wild over the weekend. Overall, in his five games back, he has 15 shots and three blocks to go along with his two goals. The Blackhawks have a very tough matchup with major divisional implications tonight against the Stars, who are shorthanded with some key injuries, but this line has had their success against the Stars as a whole combining for seven points against the Stars this season.

Value Stacks

LOS ANGELES KINGS (@ MINNESOTA)

Los Angeles Line Stacks - March 22nd

It’s hard to call a line a “value” line when they have one of the hottest, if not the hottest, scorers in the league at the moment. Kopitar has set the league ablaze lately and really since the start of December. Since March third, Kopitar has 14 points (6G, 8A), good for second this month behind only Sidney Crosby’s 17. He has only been held off the scoresheet once this month with four multi-point games in the nine games he’s scored, including two helpers last night against the Predators. He has ridden this streak and his play in the second half of the year to leading the league in +/- with a +32 rating at the moment.

“Expect this line to be heavily involved tonight against the Wild”

Toffoli is one of the more underrated young scorers in the league and has found success next to Kopitar over the last two seasons. He has hit the skids a little bit lately, with only three points in his last 10 games, but he does have a goal scored and five SOG in two games against the Wild this season. Lucic has added a physical element to this line this season and has freed up Kopitar for a lot of his success. He has been kept off the scoresheet his last two games but had 10 points in his previous eight games before that. Expect this line to be heavily involved tonight against the Wild, especially coming off last night’s disappointing performance.
