This article will identify the best line-stacking combos to use for fantasy hockey purposes every night. Considering that at least one player on a forward line will often get an assist on a goal when his line mate scores, stacking players from the same line can prove very fruitful for fantasy purposes. Use these targets to help identify some of your best options ever night.

High Priced Top Line

Aleksander Barkov ($5800) – Jonathan Huberdeau ($5500) – Jaromir Jagr ($5700)

The Panthers winning streak came to an inglorious end recently with a tough overtime loss to the Canucks followed by a couple poor efforts against the Lightning and the Flames. However, with the Panthers back home now and taking on a weak opponent in the Edmonton Oilers tonight I think this is a good spot for a bounce back and like targeting the Panthers first line for that purpose. Even with the recent slide, the Panthers will be facing one of the worst road teams in the league who gives up the 5th most goals against as a road team in the league. Despite their mini-slump this trio expects to see a lot of ice together and should be motivated to break the 3 game losing streak their team finds itself on. I like targeting on tonight’s slate and taking advantage of this potentially great matchup, there’s great potential here for a big correlation game.

Value Lines

Martin Hanzel ($4200) – Max Domi ($5000) – Anthony Duclair ($3800)

The Coyotes have been playing much better of late as a team and even though they still have some defensive deficiencies their offense has started to take shape recently as the team now ranks 8th in goals scored and has a power play that ranks 12th in the league. While Buffalo has improved this year they have not played great on the road this season and rank dead last in penalty killing as a road team. This newly formed trio has been hot and cold for the Coyotes but should see plenty of ice time at regular strength and on the power play making them a high end trio for correlation purposes. While this trio have been quiet the past couple of games they can explode in the right situation as we learned a few nights ago when Max Domi netted a hat trick against the struggling OiIers. I like these three as a value play and would target them on this slate.

Contrarian Pick

Ryan O’Reilly ($6000) – Sam Reinhart ($3800) – Evander Kane ($5900)

While the Sabres make for a good target as a road team their counterparts the Arizona Coyotes are still a pretty good target for fantasy purposes as they sport the fourth worst overall penalty kill in the league. The Sabres may not have a lot of wins in their last 10 or so games but this line has started producing fantasy wise which is generally all we should care about. As a whole these three have scored 11 points in their last 4 games and are all going to see time on the Sabres Power Play. I think targeting the Coyotes/Sabres game tonight makes quite a bit of sense given that both teams have been OK offensively but still sport massive holes on their defense. I like this trio to take advantage of the matchup and be a nice low owned, high upside stack for tournaments.
