This article will identify the best line-stacking combos to use for fantasy hockey purposes every night. Considering that at least one player on a forward line will often get an assist on a goal when his line mate scores, stacking players from the same line can prove very fruitful for fantasy purposes. Use these targets to help identify some of your best options ever night.

High Priced

Mikael Granlund ($4400) – Zach Parise ($7600) – Jason Pominville ($5000)

I know this line hasn’t exactly been on fire recently but as far as big first lines go tonight I kind of like the spot they’re in here. The Wild have lost three of their last four including 2 of their last 3 on their current 4 game home-stand. Losing tonight would mean a losing record for the four game set and I doubt very much that they want to end their 2015 on that note. Detroit is a solid team but you have to remember that they’ve built up some of their record playing bad Eastern conference teams and will be on the road here against a pretty solid Wild team. I could see this line getting off tonight and especially like the idea of using Pominville and Parise together as they’ll see the most ice time together on the Power play. I think this line makes a great stack for tournaments tonight as you could see a big night from all three and none should be highly owned.

Value Trios

Anze Kopitar ($5300) – Marian Gaborik ($4700) – Milan Lucic ($4600)

This line was put back together recently and even though they haven’t done much the last few games there’s reason to think these three could have a big game tonight versus the Canucks. All three of these players have been seeing increased time on the power play recently as the Kings try and jump-start their struggling offense. Anze Koptiar has been playing a ton with the recent injury to Jeff Carter and might again be called on to play in excess of 25 mins, which really adds to his value. The Canucks have been pretty dismal on the Penalty Kill this season and the fact these three see so much time together could mean big correlation if the special teams unit can get going for LA. I like them as a value trio against a mediocre Vancouver squad.

Contrarian Pick

Derick Brassard ($5400) – Mats Zuccarello ($5800) – Rick Nash ($6900)

Nashville was once a pretty clear fade for fantasy purposes but with their star goalie under performing a bit this year and their horrible penalty killing percentage (second worst in the league) I really like targeting them on this slate tonight. The Rangers top trio isn’t the most consistent in the world but they do play the most of any Ranger forward group on the power play. Zuccarello and Brassard are both coming off of nice games and while Rick Nash has fluctuated lately he’s still capable of getting points in bundles which is makes him a great tournament play. I expect these three to go overlooked tonight as they often do but like all three of these players to produce against the weak special teams play of the Preds.
