Top Line Stacks
Flames at BlackhawksJohnny Gaudreau ($7,700) – Sean Monahan ($7,200) – Elias Lindholm ($6,800)
The Flames are tied for first in the Western Conference and Calgary’s No. 1 line is the main reason why. Gaudreau is on a four-game point streak and has tallied 11 points in those contests. He’s averaging 5.2 FPPG and five goals in the last five games. Monahan has collected eight assists in the last five games is producing 4.6 FPPG. Lindholm is averaging 4.2 fantasy points per game and has potted six goals on the power play. The Blackhawks played last night and are starting Collin Delia ($7,000).
Canadiens vs. WildJonathan Drouin ($5,000) – Max Domi ($5,400) – Joel Armia ($5,900)
The Canadiens have been one of the biggest surprises this season and their depth has contributed to that success. Drouin has been great at home, collecting eight goals and dishing out 10 assists. The left wing is producing 3.4 FPPG and has tallied 33 points. Domi is recording 3.6 fantasy points per game and has potted 14 goals this season. Joel Armia has potted three goals and is averaging 2.6 fantasy points per contest.
Superstar to Build AroundJoe Pavelski, SJ vs. LAK ($6,500) – Pavelski is in a contract year and he’s making sure he gets paid. He has potted 25 goals this season and five in the last 10 games. Thirteen of his goals have come at the Shark Tank and he’s averaging 4.1 FPPG. Pavelski is on a four-game point streak and has tallied seven points in those games. He has tallied one goal in two games against the Kings this season.
Value on OffenseCraig Smith, NSH at TOR ($5,100) – Sometimes you have to ride the hot hand and that’s what you should do with Smith. He has scored four goals in the last three games and has produced six points in the last five games. Smith has recorded four goals and one assist with the man-advantage and is averaging 3.1 FPPG.
David Perron, STL at PHI ($4,900) – The Blues right wing has been one of the lone bright spots for them recently. He’s on a six-game point streak and tallied nine points (2G, 7A) in that time span. Perron is averaging 2.8 FPPG. Perron has recorded four goals and five assists on the power play this season.
Stud GoaliesDavid Rittich, CGY at CHI ($8,300) – Rittich has been fantastic for the Flames this season and his numbers back that up. He’s produced 14 wins, a 2.37 GAA and a .921 save percentage. He’s recording 4.7 FPPG and is 3-0-1 in his last four starts. Rittich has tallied one shutout this season and is 8-4-0 on the road.
Carter Hart, PHI vs. STL ($7,200) – The Flyers’ rookie netminder has lost four straight games, so he’s due for a bounce-back game against the Blues. He’s recorded a 2.80 GAA and a .901 save percentage. Hart is averaging 3.0 FPPG and has collected his two wins at home this season. Hart is producing 3.8 FPPG in front of the Philly faithful.
Value on DefenseDrew Doughty, LA at SJ ($5,000) – The Kings defenseman has produced four goals and 21 assists this season. He’s averaging 3.0 FPPG and has recorded four points (2G, 2A) in as many games. Barrie is producing 3.7 fantasy points per game in the last 10 games. Doughty has collected four goals and eight assists on the power play.
Mattias Ekholm, NSH at TOR ($4,800) – Ekholm has recorded a goal and four assists in the last four games and is averaging 3.0 FPPG. Three of his four goals have come on the road this season and is producing 3.5 FPPG away from Bridgestone Arena.
Colton Parayko, STL at PHI – Parayko has sniped eight goals this season and is averaging 2.9 fantasy points per game. Three of his goals have come on the power play. He’s averaging 3.4 FPPG in the last 10 games. He has fired at least two shots on net in the last four games.
Power-Play DefensemenMorgan Rielly, TOR vs. NSH ($6,200) – The Maple Leafs defenseman is making his case for the Norris Trophy this season. He has tallied 13 goals and 32 assists this season. Rielly has produced one goal and 13 assists with the man-advantage. Seven of his thirteen power-play assists have come at home.
Erik Karlsson, SJ vs. LA ($5,800) – Karlsson is rounding into form and is on a 10-game point streak. He has produced one goal and fifteen assists in those 10 contests. Karlsson has tallied two goals and 13 assists with the man-advantage. He’s averaging 4.1 FPPG and is producing 5.8 FPPG in the last 10 matchups.
