There are 14 games on the NHL slate tonight and it features a great Pacific Division matchup between the Flames and Sharks in addition to the Avalanche traveling to Washington DC to square off against the Capitals. Here are some value plays, top line stacks and stud goalies you should build your DFS lineup around.

Top Line Stacks

Predators vs. Stars

Filip Forsberg ($6,600) – Ryan Johansen ($5,600) – Viktor Arvidsson ($7,300)
 
Forsberg potted a goal in Nashville’s last game and has totaled 19 this year. He’s averaging 4.2 DKFP and 10 of his 19 goals have come at home. Arvidsson is recording 4.4 fantasy points per contest and has sniped 21 goals this year. He has scored eight goals in the last 10 games. Johansen has collected a goal and two assists in the last four games. The center has tallied a goal and a helper in three games against Stars this season.

Capitals vs. Avalanche

Alex Ovechkin ($7,900) – Nicklas Backstrom ($6,500) – T.J. Oshie ($5,700)
The Capitals No. 1 line is headlined by Ovechkin and he has been a goal-scoring machine. He has dropped in 37 goals and has recorded four goals in as many games. He’s averaging 5.3 DKFP and has collected 10 goals on the power play. Backstrom has totaled one goal and six assists in the last five games. He scored a goal and an assist in the Capitals’ last matchup with the Avalanche. Oshie is producing 3.4 DKFP and has collected 10 points (3G, 7A) in the last 10 contests.

Superstar to Build Around

Johnny Gaudreau, CGY vs. SJ ($7,700) – Gaudreau’s play this season has put him in the Hart Trophy conversation. He has sniped 29 goals this year and is averaging 5.0 DKFP. Gaudreau has collected five goals and 17 assists on the power play. He has produced two goals and two assists in two matchups against the Sharks this season. Gaudreau has tallied five goals and seven helpers in the last 10 games.



Value on Offense

Mikael Granlund, MIN vs. EDM ($5,300) – The Wild’s right winger will be expected to shoulder the offensive load with Mikko Koivu (knee) out for the season. Granlund’s on a five-game point streak and has tallied as five points in those contests. He’s averaging 3.3 DKFP and has collected two points in as many games against the Oilers this season.

Paul Stastny, VGK at DET ($5,000) – Stastny has tallied three assists in the last four games. He’s averaging 3.2 fantasy points per game. Four of his six goals have come on the road and has tallied two helpers with the man advantage. Stastny has produced one goal and nine assists in the last 10 games.



Stud Goalies

Andrei Vasilevskiy, TB vs. STL ($8,300) – Tampa Bay’s number one goalie has produced a GAA of 2.44, a save percentage of .926% and 21 wins. He’s averaging 6.1 DKFP and has collected three shutouts this year. He is a career 3-0-0 against the Blues and one of those wins was a shutout.

Marc-Andre Fleury, VGK at DET ($7,800) – The Golden Knights are starting to be a scary team and Fleury is a major reason why. He has a GAA of 2.47 and save percentage of .911% while averaging 4.7 fantasy points per contest. He has recorded six shutouts this season and the Red Wings are ranked 23 in G/G at 2.8.



Value on Defense

Erik Gustafsson, CHI vs. VAN ($5,100) – Gustafsson is on a three-game point streak and has collected three points (2G, 1A) in those games. He has sniped eleven goals this year and is collecting 3.1 fantasy points per contest. The d-man has recorded four goals and nine assists with the man-advantage this season.

P.K. Subban, NSH vs. DAL ($5,000) – Subban hasn’t tallied a point in nine games so it’s a perfect time to grab the mobile defenceman at this salary. He has recorded four goals and 14 helpers while averaging 2.9 DKFP. Three of his power play assists have come at home and had an assist in their last game against the Stars.

Rasmus Dahlin, BUF vs. CAR ($4,400) – Dahlin was able to get one past the netminder in their last game and it came on the power play. Three of his six goals have come on the power play and he’s producing 2.7 fantasy points per contest. Dahlin has tallied two goals and seven assists in the last 10 games.



Power-Play Defensemen

Brent Burns, SJ at CGY ($6,800) – The Norris Trophy winner has been on fire of late. He’s on a four-game point streak and has collected one goal and five assists in those games. Burns has recorded five goals and 15 assists on the power play. Four of his five power-player goals have come on the road.

Kris Letang, PIT at FLA ($6,400) – The Penguins defensemen is an offensive threat and he’s proving that this year. He has recorded 12 goals and 32 assists this season. Letang has tallied one goal and three assists in the last four games. He quarterbacks their deadly power play and has produced 17 points (2G, 15A) with the man advantage.
