Fantasy Hockey Cheat Sheet: NHL Picks, Values, Goalies for February 4

There are four games on the NHL Slate tonight. Frederik Andersen ($8,300) faces off against the Ducks and will be motivated to get a victory against his old squad. The streaking Flyers battle the Canucks while the Kings square off against the Rangers. Here are some stud goalies, value picks and line stacks you should consider for your DFS lineups on DraftKings.


Top Line Stacks

Maple Leafs vs. Ducks

Patrick Marleau ($4,300) – Auston Matthews ($7,900) – Kasperi Kapanen ($4,400)
The Leafs “No. 2” line has Matthews and that’s basically all you need for a potential big night. Matthews has potted a goal in three straight games and has tallied four points in those contests. He’s averaging 5.1 FPPG and has sniped four goals on the PP. Marleau has produced three points in the last two games and is recording 2.4 fantasy points per game. Kapanen hasn’t tallied a point in the last four games so he’s due for a breakout game. The right wing has sniped 15 goals this season and seven of them have come at home.

Flyers at Canucks

Oskar Lindbolm ($3,500) – Sean Couturier ($6,400) – Jakub Voracek ($6,200)
The Flyers have won seven games in a row and Philly’s second line is a major reason why. Couturier is a on a three-game point streak and has tallied four points (1G, 3A) in those games. He’s producing 3.9 FPPG and has sniped five goals on the PP. Voracek has been an assist machine this season. He has recorded six helpers in the last three games and 11 of his 34 of assists have come on the power play. Lindbolm has tallied two goals and one assist in the last three games.


Superstar to Build Around

Elias Pettersson, VAN at PHI ($6,800) – Pettersson has been a rookie sensation for the Canucks and has 23 goals this season. He’s averaging 4.2 FPPG and on his three-game point streak he has tallied four points (1G,3A). The Swedish center has sniped six goals with the man-advantage and 13 of 23 goals have come on the road.


Value on Offense

Ilya Kovalchuk, LA at NYR ($4,700) – Kovalchuk has totaled 10 goals and 13 assists this season. He is producing 2.7 FPPG and seven of his goals have come as a visitor. The veteran wing has tallied three goals and three assists in the last ten games. In his lone game against the Rangers this season, he recorded one goal and two assists.

Conor Garland, ARI at DAL ($4,500) – The Coyotes right wing has potted a goal in the last two games. He’s averaging 2.9 FPPG and has collected 13 points in 24 games. Garland has collected six goals and two assists on the road. He has sniped four goals and dished out two assists on the power play.


Stud Goalies

Frederik Andersen, TOR vs. ANA ($8,300) – Andersen gets a start against his former squad tonight. He’s recording 5.5 FPPG, a 2.58 GAA and .922 save percentage. Andersen is 5-3-2 in his last 10 games and should be able to shut down the struggling Ducks. He has one career win against Anaheim in three starts.

Jacob Markstrom, VAN at PHI ($7,500) – Markstrom is 2-1-0 in his last three starts. He has a 2.79 GAA, .910 save percentage and 20 wins this season. Markstrom is averaging 4.5 FPPG and nine of his wins have come on the road. He won his one start against the Flyers in 2018-19 and stopped 31 of 32 shots.


Value on Defense

Drew Doughty, LA at NYR (5,100) – The Kings defenseman has recorded one goal and nine assists in the last 10 contests. He’s collected 15 points (5G, 10A) on the power play this season and is averaging 2.9 FPPG. Doughty has produced one goal and two assists in the last four games.

Esa Lindell, DAL vs. ARI ($4,700) – Lindell has dished out five assists in the last four games. He has potted seven goals and 16 assists this season. Lindell is averaging 2.7 FPPG and five of his goals have come on the road. He has totaled two goal and eight three assists with the man-advantage.

Neal Pionk, NYR at. LA ($4,400) – Pionk is averaging 2.8 FPPG and has dished out 15 assists this season. He has recorded two goals and 10 assists with the man-advantage. The Rangers defenseman has produced three goals and nine assists at Madison Square Garden.


Power-Play Defensemen

Morgan Rielly, TOR vs ANA ($6,200) – The Maple Leafs’ top d-man has put his name in the Norris Trophy conversation this season. He has dished out 14 assists on the power play. Rielly has sniped 13 goals and tallied 39 helpers while averaging 4.2 FPPG. He has potted five goals at home will tallying 20 assists in front of the Maple Leafs’ faithful.

John Klingberg, DAL vs ARI ($5,700) – Klingberg has been solid for the Stars this season. He has recorded three goals and nine assists with the man-advantage. He’s producing 3.6 FPPG and four of his six goals have come at home. Eight of his 12 power play points have come at the American Airlines Center.
