FEAST AND BEHOLD THE POWER OF FREEEEEEEEEE TIME!
That’s the work of Michael Rigitano, a Blackhawks fan and overall maniac who crafted this majestic beauty after Chicago’s first Cup in 2010. Over the course of 3 months Rigitano used 7,000 bottlecaps and a cupload of hotglue to make it all come together. Some guys have all the fun!
It’s that time of the season again! Playoff hockey is officially here lets go boys! Lets do it again! @NHLBlackhawks pic.twitter.com/s1m37XjNu1 — Michael Rigitano (@Mrigi96) April 16, 2015
And now I’m making your silver Cup blue…
In other news, unfortunately the #CapCup did not actually make the cut for the NHL 16 Cover. That honor is going to the real Lord Stanley (for the first time ever) plus Patrick Kane and Jonathon Toews, who both previously appeared on NHL 10/NHL 11.
Hard to question that move and it’s got me wondering…what the hell is their Dynamic Duo nickname? Do they even have one? Maybe work on that for the Cup Run next year fellas GOTTA LEARN HOW TO MARKET YOURSELF YA KNOW.
