Some big name players at their lowest prices of the season include Jamaal Charles, Dez Bryant, and Brandon Marshall. All are household names likely to be popular picks in weekly lineups, but their statistical output has been below expectations, creating discounted values. Now might be as good a time as ever to target them, along with some other players below, that could prove to be major values with 6 more teams on byes this week.

Turn $27 into $1 MILLION in DraftKings’ Millionaire Maker contest this Sunday!

Matt Ryan, ATL @ TB, $6,300 – After getting off to a 2-1 start, the Falcons dropped 5 straight games heading into their bye week. Plagued by offensive line trouble, Atlanta is still fighting to right the ship after winning only 4 games last year. Although the QB position tends to receive the bulk of praise or blame, Ryan has not been the problem, ranked 5th in the NFL in passing yards per game. After throwing 10 TDs in the first 4 weeks, he has posted modest totals since then, contributing to his $2,300 price decline since Week 6. The Falcons have plenty of incentive to turn it around sitting just 2 games back in the NFC South, as the Saints 4-4 record is the worst of any division leader. A trip to Tampa to face the NFL’s 31st ranked pass defense comes at a perfect time for Ryan as he is due for a big day. He is 18th on our QB salary list this week.

Larry Fitzgerald, STL @ ARI, $5,400 – Since Carson Palmer has returned in the past 4 games, Fitzgerald has been on a tear, posting 22 catches 349 yards and 2 scores. This connection has led the Cardinals to the top spot in the NFC, highlighted by a big win in Dallas last week. The incoming Rams present a tough challenge after upsetting the 49ers and giving up just 10 points, but Bruce Arians has his team playing great football. At 19th on WR list, the future Hall of Famer looks rejuvenated playing with Palmer, and this team has the feel of something special. Fitzgerald is a strong play in Arizona as they hunt for win number 8.

Justin Forsett, TEN @ BAL, $5,000 – Forsett has shined far beyond expectations in Baltimore this year and has accounted for 60 percent of their rushing yards. Those 609 yards are good for 5th in the NFL. Most impressive, is his league-leading 5.4 yards per carry. He has a nice matchup at home as the Ravens look to get back on track after losing 2 in a row. Despite having more rushing yards than Matt Forte, you can start Forsett for just half the cost. He has also contributed over 200 yards through the air, on 33 catches. This production should continue against a 28th ranked Tennessee rush defense that is allowing 135 yards per game.

Kelvin Benjamin, CAR @ PHI, $4,200 – The Rookie of the Year candidate out of Florida State has produced from day one in Carolina. Benjamin is a huge target for Cam Newton, and aside from Greg Olsen, is the Panthers only reliable target. In his young career, he already has 40 catches for 589 yards and 5 scores. After his worst game of the year against the Saints last week, his price is at a season-low. In a limited player pool with 6 teams on byes, he is 39th on our WR list. He should add to his TD totals Monday night in Philadelphia, as the Panthers look to remain competitive in the NFC South.

Mychal Rivera, DEN @ OAK, $3,800 – An essential unknown until a few weeks ago, the 2nd year man out of Tennessee has been heavily involved in the Raiders offense the past 2 weeks. Over that span, he has hauled in 15 of his 20 targets for 121 yards and 2 scores. With TEs Rob Gronkowski, Jordan Reed, Dwayne Allen, and Antonio Gates on byes, he still finds himself as just the 10th highest TE salary. This is only $800 above the TE minimum. Rivera is a low-cost play with upside against the Broncos as the winless Raiders figure to be passing all day.
