Congratulations to Keasy who finished first in DraftKings’ Week 12 NFL Millionaire Maker Contest. Keasy took home $1 million with this winning lineup:
The Seahawks were involved in one of the most entertaining games of the year and Keasy racked up the fantasy points from it. Keasy went with the Russell Wilson/Doug Baldwin handcuff. The duo produced a combined 79.7 points. Keasy was one of the few believers in this handcuff. Wilson was owned by just 3.3 percent of players, while Baldwin came in at 2.7 percent ownership last week. Add in Thomas Rawls’ 14.1 points and Keasy got 93 points from one team.
Keasy took advantage of two other players with low ownership. Julius Thomas (4.4 percent) and Jarvis Landry (2.5 percent) didn’t have a lot of backing but both produced big numbers. Thomas had his first monster game of the year with 29.6 points. Meanwhile, Landry took advantage of a Jets’ secondary missing Darrelle Revis and scored 38.9 points.
For the second time in three weeks, a late Adrian Peterson touchdown was the difference in who won the Millionaire Maker. Three weeks ago Peterson’s 80-yard touchdown run to put away the Raiders separated the first and second place winners. This week Peterson’s late 35-yard touchdown run to put the nail in the Falcons was a big factor in Keasy taking first place by seven points.
Keasy scored a total of 256.7 points to take first place and win the $1 million.
