This week would mark the return of Antonio Gates and Martavis Bryant from suspension, although Bryant suffered a setback and could be out an extra week or so. Other late game inactives include Joique Bell, Stevie Johnson, and Victor Cruz. Backup QBs Brandon Weeden and Mike Vick also seek their first wins as new signal callers.

Phillip Rivers, PIT @ SD, $6,200 – Rivers leads the NFL with 1,248 passing yards, and his 8 TDs are good for 5th in the league. He has developed great chemistry with 3rd year WR Keenan Allen, with the duo already combining for 33 receptions, 387 yards, and 3 TDs. All this production aside, Rivers price is down $900 from Week 1, with the 10th QB salary this week. After a thrilling home win last week, Rivers should keep this momentum going on Monday night as they host the Steelers. The Chargers add Gates to an already potent offense, giving Rivers more resources to utilize in a potentially high scoring affair.

Ronnie Hillman, DEN @ OAK, $4,900 – Hillman broke a 72-yard scamper last week extending a Denver lead in route to the Broncos’ 4th win in as many games. Rushing the ball, his 4.9 YPC is nearly double that of fellow tailback C.J. Anderson, who has yet to exceed 43 yards on the ground in any of his 4 games this season. Given his production and playmaking upside, Hillman is bound to get more touches in this Denver offense. The matchup this week is a good one as the Broncos head to Oakland to face a defense that has given up the 2nd most yards in the NFL (404 YPG). Hillman is priced $400 less than Anderson this week and could end up being the better play of the two.

Dion Lewis, NE @ DAL, $4,800 – The Patriots rewarded Lewis with a 2-year extension this week; a midseason move rarely done in New England. Lewis has an electric impact in the passing game, and with Tom Brady playing at such a high level he should thrive. He is a clear fit to assume a role in the offensive similar to how the Patriots used Danny Woodhead and Shane Vereen. Over the first 3 games, Lewis has 15 catches for 179 yards and has rushed at an effective clip of 4.9 YPC. After back-to-back TD games, Lewis looks for 3 in a row against the injury-plagued Cowboys. Despite the $1,800 salary increase since Week 1, Lewis still offers value priced as the 20th RB this week.

Rueben Randle, SF @ NYG, $4,400 – Randle has scored in 2 straight games, and has been a solid contributor to the Giants offense with Cruz sidelined. After getting off to a sluggish start, Randle has 10 catches on 13 targets for 147 yards the past 2 weeks. With opposing defenses keying on 2nd year man Odell Beckham Jr., he should continue to garner frequent looks from Eli Manning. Facing a vulnerable San Francisco secondary on Sunday night, he could be worth a flier as the 37th priced WR this week.

Antonio Gates, PIT @ SD, $4,200 – At the age of 34 Gates finished with 69 catches for 821 yards and 12 TDs last year. After serving a 4-game suspension, Gates will make his 2015 debut at home on Monday night. This is a huge boost to the 2-2 Chargers as they chase the Broncos in AFC West. With Stevie Johnson already ruled out, Gates should see plenty of targets as the 2nd option in the passing game behind Keenan Allen. The 8-time Pro Bowler will be out to prove he’s still got it and should be immediately thrust back into his regular role on Monday. He’s priced at a $3,300 discount from top TE option Rob Gronkowski offering significant value at a low cost.

Michael Floyd, ARI @ DET, $3,000 – Floyd underwent surgery on 3 dislocated fingers this offseason, and has slowly been integrated back into the offense. The Cardinals have had an explosive attack with Carson Palmer under center, allowing multiple players to be fantasy relevant any given week. In Week 4, Floyd’s involvement in the offense increased as he finished with 5 catches for 59 yards. With 12 targets over the last 2 weeks, he is an intriguing flier at the WR minimum price. After tallying 6 TDs last season, Floyd searches for his first of the year on the road in Detroit.
