Team-building is an incredibly important component to any successful group.

Retreats and team dinners are always a fun part of team-building, but in professional sports, there’s another way to get rookies acclimated to life in the big leagues.

Rookie. Hazing.

Just ask Minnesota Vikings’ rookie Laquon Treadwell.

This what happens when your rookie and your birthday is during Minicamp.. @vikings

That’s right. Laquon Treadwell’s new Vikings teammates filled his car with 60,000 BAGS OF FRUIT SNACKS – ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

Welcome to the big leagues, kid – have fun cleaning! And don’t eat all those fruit snacks – you have to be in tip-top shape for the season!

A side note: while 60,000 bags of fruit snacks in your car is insane – does it beat what DeMarcus Cousins & Rudy Gay did to Nik Stauskas a few years ago when he was a rookie on the Sacramento Kings?

That’s bags on bags on bags of popcorn… all over his house. Cleaning up 60,000 bags of fruit snacks is nothing compared to finding popcorn kernels around your apartment for likely an eternity!
