CARLOS HYDE: 53.5 RUSHING YARDS
Everyone will be taking advantage of Hyde at $3,300 in their fantasy lineups, so we might as well do so in the props. In the last two weeks, Hyde has gained 77 yards on 18 carries, and now he’ll see the lead role with Leonard Fournette suspended against the Colts. Indy ranks just 12th in the NFL with 106.4 yards per game allowed on the ground. Hyde topped this number four times in the first five weeks of the season, so he has a track record of playing well in the starting role.
CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY: 67.5 RUSHING YARDS
CMC is one of the best plays on this slate, and he torched the Bucs back in Week 9. McCaffrey carried 17 times for 79 yards in that game, and he has hit the over on this number in three of his last four games. After watching McCaffrey rush for 125 last week and Matt Breida go for 106 rushing on just 14 carries against Tampa last week, this number just feels too low.
GUS EDWARDS: 73.5 RUSHING YARDS
Edwards has fully taken over the Baltimore backfield, and now he has the best matchup on the board. Since bursting onto the scene, the Rutgers rookie has carried 40 times for 233 yards — Atlanta ranks 25th in rushing yards allowed at 123.7 per game. While Lamar Jackson will play a big role in the ground game, the Ravens made a point of making him throw from the pocket more in Week 12. Alex Collins is now on IR, so Edwards is locked in for his 20 touches.
TOM BRADY: 289.5 PASSING YARDS
Minnesota has a solid defense, but Brady has been a different player at home this season. Yes, the Vikings rank fifth in passing yards per game at 221.1, but Brady also averages over 305 yards per game through the air at Gillette Stadium. Having surpassing this mark in each of his last three home games and adding a healthy Rob Gronkowski to the mix, this is a bounce-back game for New England’s offense.
CHRIS GODWIN: 54.5 RECEIVING YARDS
DeSean Jackson will sit this one out with a thumb injury, thrusting Godwin into a starting role on the outside. Godwin has already gone for more than 54.5 yards in six games this season with Jackson in the lineup, and Carolina ranks just 22nd in yards through the air this season at 260.1. With 53.5 projected points in this one, we can expect these teams to be slinging. This is too few yards for a starting WR.
