Let’s be honest: Rajon Rondo doesn’t always play nice. Throughout his career it’s been a blessing and a curse. That’s ok though.
And when I say “he doesn’t always play nice” — I’m not just referring to his play on the court; it could be in the locker room, dealing with the coaching staff, or, in some cases: with the referees.
Last night during the Kings’ home game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder, Rondo did something I personally have never seen happen in basketball before. With only a few seconds left in the half and the length of the court ahead of him, Rajon refused to catch the ball from the referee as the Kings were not done preparing their play…

Rondo was assessed two straight Delay of Game penalties leading to two team technical fouls.
If we’ve learned one thing about Rajon Rondo this millennium its that Rondo is gonna Rondo and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
