Every year, the first episode of Inside the NBA on TNT features the single greatest segment in live television history: “Who He Play For?”, featuring Charles Barkley.
For those who are new to the Inside the NBA and have no clue what i’m talking about — I don’t blame you, this show airs around 1:30 AM EST every Thursday night while most of you are sleeping. You know about Charles’ antics by now, but, what you don’t know is how unfathomably clueless he is re: who plays for which teams.
To quote Sir Charles: “I don’t watch players who stink.” I mean heaven-forbid an NBA analyst has to watch games featuring teams who don’t make the playoffs — right? This is what makes Barkley, Barkley … and it gets better every. single. time.
I hope you enjoy Charles going 0-for-5 as much as I did…
Bahahahahahaha. Good job good effort, Chuckster!
P.S. Here is Barkley telling the story re: the first time he met Kareem Abdul-Jabbar…
