The Clippers are now just one win away from their first ever Conference Finals appearance, following a 128-95 win over the Rockets. The amazing part is that the scoreboard actually makes the game look closer than it really was.

LAC was scoring at will, highlighted by a 43-point third quarter. DeAndre Jordan was the best player on the floor, despite MISSING TWENTY FREE THROWS! DJ shot 14-for-34 for the game, breaking a “Hack-a-Shaq” record during what can only be described as a slow first half.

Jordan managed to score an unheard of 26 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field, ripping down 17 boards in 29 minutes. With their backs against the wall, the Rockets may want to rethink their strategy here. DeAndre Jordan has been dominating them despite his struggles at the line.

So, yeah. I don’t think there’s anything you can do if you’re the Rockets that’s going to make Doc Rivers put Jordan on the bench. Not to mention, the Clippers shot 58.7 percent from the line (37-for-63), while the Rockets shot only 50 percent themselves (15-for-30).

Not only are 93 free throws boring to watch, but it’s not winning Houston games. If they want to get back on track, come out in Game 5 and play your own game, Rockets. Maybe try playing some defenses on possessions like these ones too.

On a side note, DJ’s 57.75 DFS points on DraftKings has to be some kind of record for a guy that took seven shots. Maybe if James Jones didn’t find his way into my lineup I’d have something to show for it.
