Ben Simmons (back) probable to play Saturday vs. Bucks
Simmons was unable to play in the 76ers' first game in the second half of the season, but he appears he's on track to play in a marquee matchup against the Bucks. He went through Friday's workout without any issues, leading Philly to list him as probable. Assuming Simmons plays, Raul Neto will return to a limited role off the bench after making a spot start against the Nets. Elfrid Payton (ankle) has been ruled out Friday vs. Pacers; Wayne Ellington (ankle) is available
Both players are dealing with an ankle injury but of different natures. Payton is dealing with a sore right ankle, which will keep him out tonight. Ellington ($3,000) is being listed with a strained right ankle but is available. Prior to the All-Star break, Payton was playing on a whole different level, averaging 44.3 DKFP and a 21.4% usage rate over the course of the Knicks' last five games. Frank Ntilikina ($3,100) could end up drawing the start, a role he's averaging 17.2 DKFP in. Damyean Dotson ($3,000) would have benefited without Ellington but he could continue to struggle for minutes after logging only six in the Knicks last game prior to the All-Star break.Read More »
