Howdy gamers, are you ready for SUNDAY FUNDAYYY?!  Once more, most of the attention will be on the final two NFL games of the Divisional playoff round.  However, DraftKings has a half a million dollars in guaranteed prize pools up for grabs.  There is one early 3:30pm ET game and four games tipping off in the seven o’clock hour.  What are we waiting for?!?!?

Russell Westbrook – OKC vs MIA – $10,600 – Yes, this is of course a bit of a daunting matchup on paper, however, with the various Miami injury maladies and Westbrook averaging just a tick under 50 DraftKings points per game in his last three tilts with Miami, it is going to be hard to pass employing him in all formats on the five game Sunday slate.

Brandon Knight – PHO at MIN – $7,200EARLY This price is just too good with Knight cruising to 50.8 DraftKings points in the last matchup with the Timberwolves.  That matchup in mid-December featured a different team as both Eric Bledsoe and Alex Len were healthy for that affair.  Knight has been a bit of a disappointment, despite being able to dominate the ball for the Suns who are currently a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma (props to Winston Churchill for that one).  With the tantalizing upside, I am crossing my fingers that enough gamers are feeling “burned” by BK and that he may see his popularity suppressed a bit on Sunday.

Beno Udrih – MIA at OKC – $4,000 – With Goran Dragic already ruled out for the next week, we can look once more to Udrih as a value option at the point guard position.  While the 35.3 DraftKings points he tallied in Denver against the Nuggets on Friday is probably too much to hope for, Westrbrook does not really focus on defense during the regular season, so 20-25 fantasy points is definitely in play.

James Harden – HOU at LAL – $9,900 – Okay, so the game against Cleveland on Friday was an incredibly lackluster performance by The Beard, this is a fine matchup against the Lakers who are travelling back from a game in Utah on Saturday and will offer little resistance to a player of Harden’s caliber.

Tyler Johnson – MIA at OKC – $4,600 – Now that he is finally healthy and with the Miami backcourt ranks a bit thin with the absence of Goran Dragic and a dinged up Dwyane Wade, we should see another fine showing by the Fresno State product.  Over his last three games, TJ is averaging 29 minutes per game and a solid 25 DraftKings points per game, he is a fine salary relief selection.

Gerald Green – MIA at OKC – $4,800 – After averaging nearly 13 field goal attempts per game over the preceding four, Green was off kilter in Denver attempting just five shots.  This matchup is a good one and we should see him back to his recent levels of production of 25ish DraftKings points and there is an excellent chance he can flirt with the thirty fantasy point plateau against the Thunder who have been a bottom five team against two-guards from a fantasy perspective over their last eleven games.

Kevin Durant – OKC vs MIA – $9,700 – Durant is just one season removed from his first MVP award and anytime he is under $10k, he deserves strong consideration with his efficient production and potential for a 55+ fantasy point outburst.

Kawhi Leonard – SA vs DAL – $8,200 – Leonard is a steady play who is averaging a touch below 40 fantasy points per game.  He is a solid building block in all formats Sunday against the Mavericks.

Mirza Teletovic – PHO at MIN – $4,900EARLY Teletovic has been getting time at the three, four and five positions for the Suns and he is averaging 3.4 troikas over his last seven games.  Those are worth an extra half a fantasy point on DraftKings and on the short slates, we need to find all of the extra advantages we can to best the uninformed masses.

Dirk Nowitzki – DAL at SA – $6,300 – Dirk is hiding in plain sight and he has clearly been rejuvenated this season and is playing within his means.  This year he is averaging 32.2 DraftKings points per game which would be a nice 5x return on today’s price point.  The Spurs can be exploited by non-traditional bigs and the mold was definitely shattered after Nowitzki was created!  In his last matchup against the San Antonio, Dirk accrued 36.2 fantasy points in 35.2 minutes which is well within his range of consistent outcomes once again.

Darrell Arthur – DEN vs IND – $4,700 – Arthur has started for the rudderless Nuggets in three of the last four games and he has put up 28+ DraftKings points in four of his last five.  That is phenomenal production from a discount option and since he is not a household name, it is quite likely that he will be overlooked by most gamers who will have the NFL on their mind.

Terrence Jones – HOU at LAL – $4,700 – Figuring out which Terrence Jones is going to show up on any given Sunday is a fool’s errand (continuing the football theme).  However, in three of his last five games he has tallied 27+ DraftKings points, making him a fine tournament option that won’t break the bank.

Dwight Howard – HOU at LAL – $7,700 – Monitor the news as Dwight is currently questionable with an oblique strain, however, if he is a go, this is a tasty matchup against his former team who does not have anyone on the roster that can contain him.

Hassan Whiteside – MIA at OKC – $7,400 – Whiteside posted a triple-double on Friday in Denver with 19 points, 17 rebounds and 11 blocks on his way to 69.8 DraftKings points.  Now, that is probably wishful thinking that lightening may strike twice, however, the Thunder do not have an answer for him and this seems like a good spot to roll with the herd on a short Sunday slate.

Nikola Jokic – DEN vs IND – $4,500 – This is a nice matchup for Jokic and even if he is coming off the bench, he will be in the mix for 25ish DraftKings points against the Pacers.
