WATCH: ONE ON ONE TOP POINT GUARDS

We’ve got an 11-game slate this Monday night, so there will be plenty of options to consider. Here are the top targets on the slate. Remember to use the DK Live app to monitor all the injury and lineup news leading up to lock. Hit me up on Twitter with comments or questions: @julianedlow.

POINT GUARDS

Stud

Russell Westbrook ($12,700) — The price is high on Westbrook, but I think his ceiling makes him well worth it. Matchups don’t seem to affect him at all considering Russ put together an 82.75 DKFP performance against Memphis on Friday night. He’s usually the PG stud of the slate anytime he takes the floor.

Other Options — John Wall $10,500, Eric Bledsoe $7,900

Value

Yogi Ferrell ($6,000) — Does he even count as a value anymore? Ferrell’s still underpriced in my opinion, so I’ll keep tossing him in my lineups. Denver has been atrocious covering guards this season, so I’m looking for Yogi to keep exceeding value, as he’s done in all four of his games with Dallas.

Other Options — Michael Carter-Williams $4,100, Darren Collison $4,800

SHOOTING GUARDS

Stud

Dwyane Wade ($7,500) — As per usual, the SG position is a bit thin, but Wade’s been fantastic lately. Having surpassed value in six of his last seven games, Wade is taking this mess in Chicago personally and letting it out on the court. He’ll try and keep proving himself tonight against Sacramento — a team that ranks in the bottom-five in the NBA against SGs.

Other Options — Dion Waiters $6,900, Bradley Beal $6,800

Value

Shabazz Muhammad ($4,300) — With Zach LaVine out for the season, Minnesota is going to have extra minutes on the wing. Muhammad was already a major piece of the rotation prior to the injury, but now his status is solidified. I don’t think he’ll be this cheap for long.

Other Options — Seth Curry $5,900, Gerald Henderson $3,800

SMALL FORWARDS

Stud

LeBron James ($10,400) — LeBron’s reached value in seven consecutive games, and nothing about the Wizards makes me think he can’t do it again tonight. Kyrie’s return to the lineup will take away from some of James’ ball handling duties, but LeBron should still be the focal point of the offense as he typically is.

Other options — Carmelo Anthony $7,700, Markieff Morris $6,500

Value

P.J. Tucker ($4,900) — Tucker’s always my value here. He just remains way too underpriced with 30 DKFP upside every game. Having surpassed 30 DKFP in four of his last seven games while maintaining a high floor, there’s little reason not to consider Tucker. The matchup with the Pelicans should also work in his favor tonight.

Other Options — Matt Barnes $4,900, Larry Nance Jr. $3,700

POWER FORWARDS

Stud

DeMarcus Cousins ($10,900) — Boogie is my favorite play overall on tonight’s slate because of how much the Kings are forced to rely on him. Sacramento provides a lot of nice value plays with all the injuries they have going on, but Boogie is still the guy that seems most safe to roster. Having scored 64.5 DKFP in four of his last five games, what’s not to like?

Other Options — Blake Griffin $8,800, Kevin Love $8,200

Value

Marquese Chriss ($4,000) — Chriss has been finding his stride lately, exceeding value in three of his last four games (twice by more than 10X). He had a 6 DKFP stinker in the other game, but given his price we can work past that. Fresh off 40 DKFP in 24 minutes against Milwaukee, it’s tough to see him not reaching value at just $4,000.

Other Options — Joffrey Lauvergne $3,500, Taj Gibson $4,900

CENTERS

Stud

Anthony Davis ($10,300) — AD’s exceeded value in three of his last four games, but still feels underpriced to me given his ceiling. The Suns have been horrible vs. centers this season, allowing an average of almost 60 DKFP over the past 10 games. It feels like a near perfect situation for Davis to produce a big game.

Other Options — Andre Drummond $8,300, Karl-Anthony Towns $10,100

Value

Guillermo Hernangomez ($5,200) — Hernangomez should have every opportunity to succeed tonight. He’s playing the Lakers with Joakim Noah out, coming off a game in which he saw 36 minutes of action. Averaging nearly 40 DKFP over his past three, it feels like this kid is finally cemented within the rotation.

Other Options — Robin Lopez $4,300, Lavoy Allen $3,700

Note: Keep a close eye on news prior to lock as this could open up some value plays that were not considered early in the day.
