The NBA rolls on tonight with a five-game slate, so here are my favorite studs and values for tonight’s action. If you have any questions, reach out to me on Twitter @JasonWalkerDFS.

Point Guard

Damian Lillard – POR at DEN – $8,800 – Lillard brings his high raw usage (30%) into Denver where he finds one of the softest defenses against point guards in the league, no matter who starts for the Nuggets. The projected total is 224 and the spread is one, so this will likely be a very popular game fantasy-wise.

Jeff Teague – IND at NOP – $6,400 – Teague’s usage is down a little bit after Paul George returned, but I think Teague is still a fine play at this price. He only played 29 minutes against Miami Wednesday night, so he should be good to go for mid 30s in an improved matchup.

Other Options – Stephen Curry ($8,600), Jrue Holiday ($6,700)

Patty Mills – SAS at PHX – $4,500 – Classic Spurs would be to rest their vets on the road on the back end of a back-to-back. Since Tony Parker played Wednesday night, he may be rested tonight (be sure to check closer to tip off). If that’s the case, that puts Mills in line for 30 minutes or so. With his FP/min rate, that would place him right in line with tourney value in a sweet matchup and a relatively high projected total.

Brandon Jennings – NYK at GSW– $4,600 – Derrick Rose is questionable, but you may want Rose to give it a go if you want to roster Jennings. Why? Because ownership will be lower in that case and it likely would not move Jennings off of the 28-30 minutes he’ll receive anyway in this matchup. The high pace suits the free-wheeling Jennings well and the projected total is very high (224).

Editor’s Note: Derrick Rose has been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Warriors.

Other Options – Rajon Rondo ($5,800), Langston Galloway ($3,800)

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum – POR at DEN – $6,900 – For the same reasons I like Lillard, so too are the reasons to favor C.J. tonight. His raw usage is 25+%, it is a great matchup for guards and the projected total and pace is high.

Dwyane Wade – CHI at MIL – $7,000 – The usual Marquette homecoming game for Wade, who has more raw usage than Jimmy Butler and has a better matchup since Giannis will likely hassle Butler.

Other Options – Klay Thompson ($6,400)

Glenn Robinson – IND at NOP – $3,900 – He will likely start again for the injured Monta Ellis. While he was not great Wednesday night in a similar start, Miami is a much tougher defense than that of the Pelicans, and 30 minutes here will likely be enough to pay off his $3.9K salary.

Devin Booker – PHX vs. SAS – $5,200 – He is coming off a dud performance, but even in that he played 35 minutes and all the crunch time. Against San Antonio on the back end of a back-to-back and a projected team total over 100, Booker and his 25% raw usage will be very much in play here.

Other Options – Danny Green ($3,600), Courtney Lee ($4,100)

Small Forward

Kevin Durant – GSW vs. NYK – $9,200 – This game has a super high projected total, and Durant is going to be asked to stay on the floor longer with the Knicks’ big men in play. This leaves his crazy 1.43 DK points per minute on the court even longer.

Editor’s Note: Carmelo Anthony has been ruled out tonight.

Carmelo Anthony – NYK at GSW – $7,400 – The Knicks will ask more of Melo to compete in this game. The free flowing manner of basketball that accompanies a Warriors’ home game is good for Carmelo to launch 20-25 shots, something that typically adds to his fantasy point total.

Other Options – Kawhi Leonard ($8,300)

Maurice Harkless – POR at DEN – $4,900 – With Al-Farouq Aminu still doubtful, this essentially locks Harkless into a starting slot and starter’s minutes. He was lighting up the Thunder Tuesday night, getting 32 DK points in 25 minutes before a blowout could provide a fourth shift. It is a similarly positive matchup tonight in Denver.

C.J. Miles – IND at NOP – $4,000 – Rodney Stuckey is unlikely to play, and Monta Ellis is already out. This likely means mid 20s minutes for Miles, who will be needed to matchup with the Pelicans usual array of three and four guard lineups.

Other Options – Nikola Mirotic ($3,600), Jonathon Simmons ($3,000)

Power Forward

Draymond Green – GSW vs. NYK – $7,900 – The other rebounder for the Warriors posted a triple-double in New Orleans and now will be asked to be on the floor more to deal with the Knicks’ big front court. The bigs on the Knicks handle the ball more than most front courts, so that provides opportunity for Green to grab some extra peripherals to improve value.

Jabari Parker – MIL vs. CHI – $6,300 – With Michael Beasley likely to miss tonight’s game, it means a few extra minutes for Parker, who is already mid-20s in raw usage and can put up the 40 DK points needed for tourney value.

Other Options – Kristaps Porzingis ($8,000), Anthony Davis ($11,500)

Marquese Chriss – PHX vs. SAS – $3,500 – Contingent on Alex Len and T.J. Warren still being out (both are highly questionable), Chriss frustrated many Booker owners by grabbing usage in his last start against the Knicks, when he put up 34.50 DK points in 32 minutes of play.

Taj Gibson – CHI at MIL – $4,700 – Taj looks to be cash game ready tonight with a solid 30 minute playing time floor. He also has an 18% raw usage and a positive matchup against the Bucks.

Other Options – Terrence Jones ($4,300)

Nikola Jokic – DEN vs. POR – $6,500 – Everyone is on Jokic right now, with his recent run of 49.75, 36, 33.75, 35.25, and 42 DK points over his last five games, none of them involving any more than 27.52 minutes played. Now, even Michael Malone is saying he wants to give Jokic more minutes. If he truly does get extra run, 45-50 DK points in this very soft matchup against Portland will be smashing value.

Myles Turner – IND at NOP – $6,000 – He played a lot of minutes Wednesday, but has not been given a reduction on back-to-backs yet this season. The Pacers will need Turner’s size and athleticism against Anthony Davis and Terrence Jones tonight. He’s been balling lately, scoring over 33.75 in 3 straight games.

Mason Plumlee – POR at DEN – $5,600 – So involved in the Portland offense, Plumlee has even been getting more minutes, leading to 81 total DK points in his last two games. Denver is one of the weakest teams at defending the rim, and Plumlee’s raw usage has been rising with the additional time on the floor.

Tyson Chandler – PHX vs. SAS – $5,400 – Contingent on Len being out and Pau Gasol being in for the Spurs, Chandler has posted back-to-back 40 DK point games in Len’s absence and would be needed to defend the still-effective Pau on the floor.

Other Options – Robin Lopez ($4,600), John Henson ($4,200)
