Get your week started the right way by enjoying this tasty nine-game slate. Find your core values and some studs tonight on a slate that offers very high game totals for you to exploit. If you have any questions for tonight games, fire away on Twitter @JasonWalker_72.
Russell Westbrook – OKC vs. LAL – $10,300 – How long will he play? He went 34 minutes his last time out and if he plays that much against the Lakers, he could be at 50 DKFP by the end of the third quarter. Always a threat for 70 DKFP and arguably the top play of the night every time he’s on the floor.
Jeff Teague – ATL @ CLE – $6,200 – The Hawks are still playing for home court in the first round and Jeff Teague has been top five in drives since the trade deadline. Also, a matchup against Kyrie Irving is always an offensive boost.
Other Options – Darren Collison (@PHX, $6,100)
Tim Frazier – NOP vs. CHI – $5,700 – Frazier has averaged 35 DKFP in 31 minutes per game over his last four games and has been aggressively driving to the basket. Against the now playoff eliminated Bulls, Frazier could find a soft interior even softer.
Ramon Sessions – WAS @ BKN – $4,600 – John Wall is unlikely to play with Washington eliminated, leaving the high usage Sessions in position to deliver big value against a generous Nets backcourt.
Other Options – Seth Curry (@PHX, $4,300)
James Harden – HOU @ MIN – $10,900 – Harden is the man with THE most to play for tonight, as the Rockets are still on the outside looking in at the playoffs. Harden has been using all the possessions in the game to try and get them there. Huge ceiling here, as 70 DKFP is always in scope for Harden but tonight’s ramifications may push that ceiling higher.
Devin Booker – PHX vs. SAC – $7,100 – Booker hasn’t been consistently electric lately, but his 28-30% raw usage and this matchup against the Kings puts him squarely in the targets tonight.
Other Options – Nicolas Batum (@BOS, $6,900)
Rodney Hood – UTA vs. DAL – $5,200 – The Jazz are on the other side of that playoff equation with the Rockets, as they are trying to hold onto the #8 seed in the West. The matchup is alright, and Hood certainly is playing the minutes, averaging 37 a game over the last four games.
Justin Holiday – CHI @ NOP – $3,100 – Suddenly getting 23 minutes per game over his last four games, Holiday has averaged 20 DKFPG over that span, making him a good target tonight, especially with the Bulls resting most of the regulars.
Other Options – James Anderson (@PHX, $3,000), Mario Hezonja (vs. MIL, $3,300), J.R. Smith (vs. ATL, $4,500)
LeBron James – CLE vs. ATL -$9,600 – Cleveland is still trying to clinch the East, and LeBron has scored 60 DKFPG against the Hawks this season. He bulldozed the Hawks in Atlanta, so he’ll have his way at home.
Kevin Durant – OKC @ LAL – $9,700 – Same as Westy, if Durant plays the 34 minutes he’s been averaging lately, he’ll clear 50 DKFP easily.
Other Options – Trevor Ariza (@MIN, $5,900), Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,200), Gordon Hayward (vs. DAL, $7,000)
Mirza Teletovic – PHX vs. SAC – $5,600 – P.J. Tucker will be a popular lower end play, but I like the 25% raw usage of Teletovic better – plus he’s been averaging 34 DKFPG over his last four games.
P.J. Tucker – PHX vs. SAC – $5,300 – OK, I’ll list him, too. After all, it’s hard to ignore the plump matchup and his 30 DKFPG over the last four games.
Other Options – Dante Cunningham (vs. CHI, $3,700)
Paul Millsap – ATL @ CLE – $8,500 – Has averaged 58 DKFPG over his last four games, as Atlanta begins to roar into the playoffs. The Hawks are fighting for home court advantage, so Millsap will continue to be motivated and has averaged 51 DKFPG against the Cavs this season.
Kevin Love – CLE vs. ATL – $7,300 – Love has averaged 38 DKFPG against the Hawks this season, and the Cavs still have to win to fend off the Raptors for the Eastern Conference.
Other Options – Jabari Parker (@ORL, $6,200)
Trey Lyles – UTA vs. DAL – $3,400 – If Derrick Favors misses tonight (questionable), then Lyles will be a 7x-8x salary consideration here with his 24% raw usage when on the court.
Tristan Thompson – CLE vs. ATL – $4,300 – Starting with last season’s playoffs, Thompson owns the Hawks, scoring 37 DKFPG against them this season with his dominant rebounding against the Hawks’ overall poor rebounding.
Other Options – Bobby Portis (@NOP, $3,500), Quincy Acy (@PHX, $3,100)
Karl-Anthony Towns – MIN vs. HOU – $8,900 – Towns will play because Sam Mitchell wants to give his top unit reps together for growth. Towns has averaged 38 minutes per game over his last four games and is a 50-60 DKFP threat every night and has a slightly positive matchup against Dwight Howard in a 215.5 game total.
Enes Kanter – OKC @ LAL – $5,600 – A tourney target here, as his usage and ability to post a quarter double-double gives him the 36 DKFPG he’s had over the last four games, despite his mere 23 minutes per game over the same stretch.
Other Options – Dwight Howard (@MIN, $6,000), Nikola Vucevic (vs. MIL, $7,800)
Cristiano Felicio – CHI @ NOP – $3,000 – He’ll play at least half the game and he scored 26.75 DKFP in his last game against the Cavs and this will be a considerably easier matchup.
Frank Kaminsky – CHA @ BOS – $3,500 – Cody Zeller is questionable, and if he misses, Uncle Frank scored 34.75 DKFP in his absence against the Wizards, and the Celtics are a better matchup than Marcin Gortat.
Other Options – Alexis Ajinca (vs. CHI, $4,500), Steven Adams (@LAL, $4,100), Willie Cauley-Stein (@PHX, $5,000)
