Game Flow Notes
HIGH O/U – Hawks vs. Warriors- The Warriors are at a 225 total tonight and will look to light up the scoreboard. With a -11.5 spread this one could get dicey and out of control, but I think the Hawks hang tight until the 3rd quarter. If Steph Curry is a go he is my top play on the night. I also love Draymond and Klay. For the Hawks it will be Millsap and Horford running the show.
LOW O/U – Suns vs. Hornets- My Hornets are the lowest total of the night at 205.5. This isn’t technically low, but it is the lowest on the night. I love Kemba and Batum in this matchup especially at home. For the Suns it is all about the big men. I like Teletovic and Alex Len against my Hornets.

Pace of Play

HIGH PACE – Suns vs. Hornets – This is very surprising, but something I definitely wanted to point out. With a projected game pace of 100 the is the 2nd fastest on the night. Like I said earlier this is a Kemba and Batum game. I do like the big men for the Suns, but there are better options on the night.
LOW PACE – Trail Blazers vs. Knicks – Could this be a RoLo revenge game. With a projected game pace of 95.6. This is typically slower than a Trail Blazers game, but we should see a lot of Lillard and McCollum. I also think that Carmelo, Kristaps, and RoLo should all make a good showing tonight.
Defense vs. Position
Point Guard Matchups
TARGET – Damian Lillard vs. Jose Calderon – The Knicks are ranked 18th against opposing PGs. Lillard has had a slew of 40+ DK games. I think he puts up 40-45 DK points tonight.
AVOID – Donald Sloan vs. D’Angelo Russell – Sloan is getting a lot of minutes, but he isn’t necessarily producing. The Lakers are ranked 30th against opposing PGs, but I still think Sloan only puts up about 20 DK points tonight.
Shooting Guard Matchups
TARGET – Dwyane Wade vs. E’Twaun Moore – With Jimmy Butler sidelined the Bulls aren’t as good as they were in the past. The Bulls are 14th against opposing SGs. Wade is getting a lot of usage due to Bosh sitting out. I think he goes for 40 DK points tonight.
AVOID – Kyle Korver vs. Klay Thompson- The Warriors are ranked 10th against opposing SGs. Korver just hasn’t been himself lately and he hasn’t had a 20 DK point game in the past 3. When your fantasy scoring relies on 3s it isn’t very promising.
Small Forward Matchups
TARGET – Carmelo Anthony vs. Al-Farouq Aminu – Aminu is a great defender, but Melo has something going for him….Usage. He will get his shots and he will hit some of them, he has a great chance at value tonight.
AVOID – Mike Dunleavy vs. Luol Deng- The Bulls are strapped for players and Dunleavy has tried to fill a void. The Heat are ranked 17th against opposing SFs. Dunleavy should come in slightly undervalue tonight.
Power Forward Matchups
TARGET – Draymond Green vs. Paul Millsap – Green had 60 DK points last game. I think both of these guys should go for over 40 tonight. This will be a great matchup and a fun game to watch.
AVOID – Ed Davis vs. Kristaps Porzingis – Davis still hasn’t acquired the start, but he does hit decent value. Kristaps is a great defender and is ranked 6th against opposing PFs. There are obviously better options tonight.
TARGET – Hassan Whiteside vs. Pau Gasol- The first game I saw Whiteside really play was against the Bulls. He went nuts and put up a triple double. With Bosh out his usage is up and he should ham out tonight on a terrible Bulls team.
AVOID – Al Jefferson vs. Tyson Chandler – Al Jeff has a great matchup tonight, but still hasn’t produced. The Suns are ranked 7th against opposing Cs and should look to lock Al down tonight.
Lineup Quick Hits
Superstar Worth Paying For
Editor’s Note: Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala have been announced as out for tonight’s game. Look for Shaun Livingston to see minutes in the high twenties. Leandro Barbosa could also see an increase in minutes off the bench. Finally, look for Klay Thompson and Draymond Green to pick up a bump in usage.
Stephen Curry ($10,900)- Steph has been on a heater lately posting 4 games over 60 DK points. He gets a solid matchup tonight against the Hawks and has another shot at 60 DK points. Make sure to monitor his situation as he is questionable for tonight. If he decides not to give it a go, then Damian Lillard makes a great pivot play.
Save Big Bucks by Drafting
Jose Calderon ($3,900) – On a limited slate there aren’t a whole lot of options out there. Calderon gives us two things, minutes and matchup. He has the ability to put up numbers when given the opportunity. I think he is good for about 20 DK points tonight.
Dud of the Night
Deron Williams ($5,800) – Deron has seen his ups and downs in Dallas, but has had a better season than last year. He matchup today isn’t bad, but I only see him hitting around 25 DK points. I think there are better options at PG than D Will tonight.
