Vegas Lines

HIGH O/UMavericks vs. Warriors – Hopefully the highest scoring game on the night will be a little more entertaining than the Spurs/Warriors debacle. With a total of 214.5 this one should provide a lot of fantasy action. The Mavs come in a little hobbled up, but have seen some great play from Chandler Parsons. He could repeat this tonight in an excellent matchup against the Warriors. For the Warriors this is a Steph and Draymond game as both guys are facing positive value matchups.

LOW O/UHornets vs. Jazz- Ughhh there’s that team name will all stay away from. The total in this one is 191.5 and it may go under. The Hornets have been playing at a faster pace this year, but unfortunately can’t break through the lore of the Jazz. If I have to pick plays from this debacle I like Kemba and Hayward with high usage tonight.

HIGH PACE Nuggets vs. Celtics- The Celtics have been one of the fastest teams this season. In the matchup tonight the Nuggets will also help speed this game up. The projected game pace tonight is 100.8 and may go even faster. I love IT2 and the Boston post guys in this one. I also like Danilo and Faried for the Nuggets.

LOW PACERockets vs. Spurs- It’s crazy to see the Rockets in a slower pace game, but the Spurs will do that to just about anybody (except the Warriors). The projected game pace in this one is 97.4. The Spurs should be motivated to make a statement after that tough loss against the Warriors, which means we could see good games from LMA and Kawhi. For the Rockets it will be the Harden show with a sprinkle of Ariza.

TARGETIsaiah Thomas vs. Emmanuel Mudiay- IT2 gets a phenomenal matchup against the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets are ranked 28th against opposing PGs. IT2 has a chance to exceed value tonight.

AVOID Jeff Teague vs. Chris Paul- Teague has had a rough January. CP3 is ranked 4th against opposing PGs. Teague hasn’t hit value in the last 4 games. I predict another rough outing tonight.

TARGETAndrew Wiggins vs. Dion Waiters- Waiters gets the start for an injured Andre Roberson. Wiggins was on the avoid list against a tough Cavs D, but he has a great matchup tonight. I look for him to hit value tonight.

AVOIDDevin Booker vs. JR Smith/Imam Shumphert Booker has been a great value play with the absence of Eric Bledsoe. The Cavs are ranked 5th against opposing SGs and will look to hold Booker in check tonight.

TARGET Kawhi Leonard vs. Trevor Ariza- Kawhi and Ariza both make for interesting plays tonight. Kawhi should come in motivated after an embarrassing loss to the Warriors. Ariza has been on fire lately with the absence of Dwight Howard. I am not opposed to running out either guy tonight.

AVOID Robert Covington vs. Marcus Morris- Bob Cov was a nice value play last night. Tonight he gets a tough matchup against Marcus Morris. With Okafor out he may hit value, but I doubt he exceeds tonight.

TARGET LaMarcus Aldridge vs. Clint Capela/Josh Smith/Terrence Jones- LMA had 15 DK points against the Warriors. This was an embarrassment for LMA. He gets a great matchup against the Rockets tonight and will look to right the ship.

AVOID Alex Len vs. Kevin Love- Len crushed last night in a great matchup. The matchup tonight is a lot tougher and he shouldn’t provide the same production. I am looking elsewhere to take down a GPP

Len is listed at Center but has been playing PF alongside Tyson Chandler of late

TARGETAndre Dummond vs. Nerlens Noel Drummond versus the 76ers, sign me up. He has looked a little tired during his last couple of outings, but he should go ham tonight.

AVOID Spencer Hawes vs. Rudy Gobert- Hawes should draw another start for the Hornets. The Jazz are ranked 1st against opposing Cs and will look to make Hawes come in under value tonight.

Lineup Quick Hits

Superstar Worth Paying For

Russell Westbrook ($10,600)- It was the KD show last night. Tonight Westy is projected at 55+ DK points and should come out firing. I think he has the opportunity to exceed value tonight.

Save Big Bucks by Drafting

Archie Goodwin ($4,800) – His price hasn’t changed much, but his value just keeps going up. Goodwin had a monster night against the 76ers last night. He will get the start again tonight and the matchup is only a little tougher. Low price and great value makes him a must play in my book.

Dud of the Night

Dwight Howard ($7,700) – Howard is in, but coming off of injury this worries me a lot tonight. He has a tough matchup and may even be limited. I need to make sure he is back up to speed before going all in tonight.

Doubtful/Out

This is not a comprehensive list. Be sure to check for injury updates throughout the day

Jahlil Okafor – Out, Tim Duncan – Out, Kevin Martin – Out, Raul Neto – Out
