Game Flow Notes

Vegas Lines

HIGH O/U Kings vs. Blazers- The Kings are coming off of a double overtime loss to my Hornets, where Boogie Cousins put up an infinite amount of fantasy points. The total tonight is at 215.5 and this one is again projected at a fast pace. Obviously in cash games Boogie and Rondo are in play, but they may be worth a fade in GPP. For the Blazers Lillard and McCollum are both projected at over 30 DK points tonight and should have a strong outing.

LOW O/UMagic vs. Bucks- Jason Kidds Bucks are extremely low scoring. This game comes in at a 195.5 total of the night. I like the post guys in this one Monroe and Vucevic. I also think that Giannis and Middleton make for great cash plays. This one may present us some sneaky value.

HIGH PACE Suns vs. 76ers- Even with the big two sidelined for the Suns, Hornacek still loves to push the pace. With a projected pace total of 102.6 this game should be blazing. There is value all over for the Suns as Goodwin, Booker, and Chandler have all played great basketball lately. The 76ers also present some fun with the Ish and Noel combo. Markieff Morris is probable and should play in this game as well.

LOW PACEHeat vs. Nets- Here comes another post battle and a lesson in slow ball as the Heat highlight the slowest game of the night. With a projected pace of 93.3 the Heat may be without Hassan Whiteside again tonight. If this is the case look for Bosh and Wade to carry the load. On the Nets side it will be all BroLo and Thad Young. I honestly can’t stand this game for fantasy purposes tonight.

TARGETRussell Westbrook vs. Jose Calderon- Westbrook in Madison Square Garden against Jose Calderon. I will talk all the shares possible please. This has the makings of an easy 50+ DK point game for Westy tonight.

AVOID Donald Sloan vs. Beno Udrih- Both of these guys have come into their roles due to injury. Unfortunately, I don’t have either guy projected of 20 DK points. The guard value lies in Philly tonight.

TARGETDeMar DeRozan vs. Garrett Temple- Beal is out again tonight (but he still isn’t softer than Anthony Davis). DeRozan gets a great matchup and has a high usage rate for the Raptors. For the price he is easily the best SG on the slate.

AVOIDJ.J. Redick vs. Monta Ellis By no means is Ellis an elite defender. However, Redick has seen his usage drop with Blake out on injury. He hasn’t hit value in the last 3 games and is projected at slightly under again tonight.

TARGET Kevin Durant vs. Carmelo Anthony- Both of these guys get up for playing one another. I think that each should have a strong showing tonight. I have KD projected higher at about 45+ DK points due to his ability to play all aspects of the game. Carmelo should get his based on usage and both make for great plays.

AVOID Wesley Johnson vs. Paul George- Wes hasn’t really developed into the SF the Clips were hoping for. Actually the Clips have been without an SF for years and the future for this spot isn’t looking up. The Pacers are ranked 3rd in the NBA against opposing SFs and will should lock Wes down tonight.

TARGET DeMarcus Cousins vs. Ed Davis- Boogie down all night again, as DeMarcus is looking unstoppable at the moment.

AVOID Dirk Nowitzki vs. Julius Randle- Dirk hasn’t hit value in the last two and looks to be slowing down. Of the higher priced PFs I have him projected as the lowest tonight. The Lakers struggle against PFs, but I have a feeling this one gets out of hand and Dirk gets some built in rest.

TARGETNikola Vucevic vs. Greg Monroe I like both of these guys tonight and both are projected at 35+ DK points. I feel like Vuc has the matchup edge, but Greg makes for a strong play as well. Neither guy will play a lot of defense tonight.

AVOID Roy Hibbert vs. Salah Mejri- Roy is old, it really is that simple. The Laker’s C hasn’t hit value in forever and he gets a younger more motivated player in Salah tonight. The Mavs are 6th against opposing Cs and this hasn’t taken a hit with Zaza sitting out either.

Lineup Quick Hits

Superstar Worth Paying For

DeMarcus Cousins ($11,000)- Hmmm, Boogie gave us 81 DK points last night. I can’t fade him until he proves us wrong. I am still on the Boogie train, on a back to back and after a double OT loss.

Save Big Bucks by Drafting

Archie Goodwin ($4,500) – Goodwin has stepped in very nicely for Brandon Knight and has crushed value. He is projected at 30+ DK points tonight and should have a good outing against the 76ers. He should be a very popular play, but could help you win in cash or GPP.

Dud of the Night

Kristaps Porzingis ($7,300) – The “Unicorn” as called by Kevin Durant has been a little hobbled up lately. He should play tonight against a Thunder team that will look to push the basketball. The rookie has been good this year, but I have him projected at under 30 DK points tonight due to his matchup with Serge and this won’t hit value.

Doubtful/Out

This is not a comprehensive list. Be sure to check for injury updates throughout the day

Bradley Beal – Out, OJ Mayo – Out, Rudy Gay – Out, Devin Harris – Doubtful, Zaza Pachulia – Doubtful
