Game Flow Notes

Vegas Lines

HIGH O/U Hawks vs. Kings- This is one of those juicy matchups that boasts a very high total of 218.5. Obviously Boogie is back in play as he put up a monster last night. I also like Rondo in a matchup that should be very conducive to his style of play. On the Hawks side of the ball Millsap is also about as good of a play tonight as any.

LOW O/UGrizzlies vs. Nuggets- The total in this one is 195.5. The Grizzlies play post ball and are dependant on defense and bigs to win. The Nuggets are young and injured which doesn’t bode well for their chances. I like Marc Gasol and Danilo Gallinari, but that is about it from this one.

HIGH PACE Spurs vs. Suns – It’s always pretty surprising to see the Spurs in a high pace game. The projected game pace for this one is 99 and it should be very interesting. If there was ever a night to get “Popped” this is the night. The Suns are pretty much all injured and there is no way to determine what Popovich will do with his lineup.

LOW PACEClippers vs. Cavaliers – This game has a projected game pace of 95.6. This one will be all about the stars as LeBron James and Chris Paul both try to show their prowess. I love both guys tonight, as well as Kevin Love. This one will be interesting and should be a good show.

TARGET Chris Paul vs. Kyrie Irving- This one isn’t about matchup as much as it is about usage. Paul will have to play lights out to keep the Clippers in the game tonight. His price is about as high as it has been, but it should be worth it tonight.

AVOID Emmanuel Mudiay vs. Mike Conley – Jameer Nelson is still questionable tonight which means Mudiay should get the start. Conley is a great defender and is ranked 9th against opposing PGs. The rookie will get all he can handle tonight.

TARGETTyreke Evans vs. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope- KCP has been great offensively, but has struggled on the defensive side of the ball. Evans will get higher usage with Eric Gordon out. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a 40 DK point game from Evans tonight.

AVOIDDevin Booker vs. Danny Green Booker may play 40 minutes tonight as it seems everybody is injured for the Suns. Green and the Spurs are ranked 5th against opposing SGs and should hold him to less than 20 DK points tonight.

TARGET LeBron James Vs. Wesley Johnson/Paul Pierce- It doesn’t matter who matches up against Rhe King tonight. He is playing his buddy Chris Paul and will look to show out on the evening.

AVOID P.J. Tucker vs. Kawhi Leonard – Tucker isn’t an elite scorer by any means. Most of his work is done on the defensive side of the ball. I don’t know how long Kawhi will be in the game, but it doesn’t matter. Tucker isn’t a great option tonight.

TARGET DeMarcus Cousins vs. Paul Millsap – Both of these guys are elite plays. I will have high cash and high GPP exposure to both guys tonight.

AVOID Luc Mbah a Moute vs. Kevin Love – Mbah a Moute and Josh Smith usually are the fill-ins for Blake Griffin. K Love and Tristan Thompson are ranked 4th against opposing PFs. The scoring for the Clippers tonight should come from the guard position.

TARGETAndre Drummond vs. The New Orleans Pelican’s C Will it be Asik or Anjica…who knows. What we do know is that the Pelicans are terrible against opposing Cs. Drummond is of the elite and should have an opportunity to go off tonight.

AVOID Nikola Jokic vs. Marc Gasol- Gasol is a great defender and is also the 2nd projected C of the night. Jokic and the Nuggets Cs will have their hands full against one of the best in the league.

Lineup Quick Hits

Superstar Worth Paying For

DeMarcus Cousins ($10,600) – I just can’t pass up someone who has been as hot as Boogie. He has another great matchup tonight and is coming off of a 61 DK point performance last night. I have him projected at another 50 burger tonight. Look for Boogie to once again Boogie down! (As cliche as it is)

Save Big Bucks by Drafting

Patty Mills ($3,500) – This one is solely a GPP play, but I will have some of Mills tonight. The Suns are decimated with injuries and ultimately still aren’t that good anyway. Mills should also get the start for Tony Parker, who is out tonight. Mills hasn’t hit value in a while, but on a night like tonight he makes for a sneaky play to win a GPP.

Dud of the Night

Ryan Anderson ($6,000) – If Anthony Davis ever sits (which happens frequently) then Anderson makes for a great play. However, tonight Davis will play and Anderson’s value has been way down.

This is not a comprehensive list. Be sure to check for injury updates throughout the day

Eric Gordon – Out, Jon Leuer – Doubtful, Tony Parker – Out
