Game Flow Notes

Vegas Lines

HIGH O/U Warriors vs. Thunder – Tonight the shootout will be in Oklahoma. With a total of 234 this will be one of the highest scoring on the season. For the Warriors it will be Chef Curry and Draymond Green scoring the DK points. For the Thunder it is the Westy and Durant show.

LOW O/UNets vs. Jazz- There they are, the Jazz have made the lowest scoring of the night. With a total of 195, this one will be low scoring. I like Donald Sloan for value in this one, as well as Bojan Bog. For the Jazz it’s a tossup, you can go with Hayward, Favors, or Gobert.

HIGH PACE Trail Blazers vs. Bulls – The 2nd fastest on the evening is the Bull’s game. With a total of 98.3 this one comes in right under the Warriors. Pau makes for an awesome play, if D Rose sits out again there will be a lot of value. On the Blazers it’s the Lillard and McCollum show.

LOW PACE Pistons vs. Bucks – The Pistons and the Bucks have both been slower paced all season. With a projected game pace of 96.4 this one will be slow. The Bucks have been riding Giannis, Khris, and Jabari of late. For the Pistons Drummond will be looking to one up his old teammate Monroe.

Defense vs. Position

Point Guard Matchups

TARGETDamian Lillard vs. E’Twaun Moore (SG) – Lillard is carrying the Trail Blazers. Tonight he gets the 28th ranked Bulls and should light it up. Obviously, Westy and Steph are great plays which means Lillard may come in under the radar.

AVOIDTony Parker vs. Patrick Beverley – The Spurs are ranked 5th against opposing PGs. Parker and Beverley don’t get a lot of usage. I think they both come in at about 25 DK points tonight.

Shooting Guard Matchups

TARGETJames Harden vs. Danny Green – Yes the Spurs are ranked 1st against opposing SGs. Harden is the king of usage and could go for 50+ DK points tonight.

AVOID Devin Booker vs. Tony Allen/Vince Carter – I thought for sure Booker would become the top scorer in Phoenix, but he hasn’t done a lot since Morris left town. No matter who gets the start for Memphis it will be tough for Booker as they excel at defending the SG spot.

Small Forward Matchups

TARGET Kevin Durant vs. Harrison Barnes – KD didn’t like losing against the Warriors during the last outing. He may be auditioning for a spot tonight. The Warriors are 12th against opposing SFs. I think he goes for 50+ tonight.

AVOIDTrevor Ariza vs. Kawhi Leonard- Let me put this out there for you, don’t play SF’s against Kawhi. I think I have said that over 30 times this season.

Power Forward Matchups

TARGETDraymond Green vs. Serge Ibaka – With a total of 234 in this game there should be a lot of scoring for Draymond. Green has the ability to light up all of the stat categories tonight and will want to get another triple double tonight.

AVOID Thad Young vs. Derrick Favors – Favors is ranked 1st against opposing PFs. Thad has seen his usage go up due to Joe Johnson moving to Miami. I still think he has a chance to hit value, but he shouldn’t exceed tonight.

Center Matchups

TARGETKarl Anthony-Towns vs. Pelicans C – Play Center’s against the Pelican’s. Especially if the Center is KAT and having a great rookie season.

AVOID Andrew Bogut vs. Steven Adams- Bogut and Adams are both great defenders. I have them both projected at about 25 DK points tonight. This game will be star heavy and I just don’t think these to Centers will make the cut.

Lineup Quick Hits

Superstar Worth Paying For

Russell Westbrook/Steph Curry- Westy and the Chef will battle it out tonight. Every time they play the point scoring goes through the roof. I have them both projected at 50+ tonight. If you can fit them both, roll them out tonight.

Save Big Bucks by Drafting

Shelvin Mack (4,500) – Mack has looked great taking over the reigns for the Jazz. His price is still low enough to take advantage and he has an opportunity to crush value tonight.

Dud of the Night

Serge Ibaka (5,700) – Ibaka should have trouble staying with the pace tonight. He hasn’t been great this season and most of the usage will be going to Westy/Durant tonight.

Out/Doubtful Tonight

Kevin Garnett – Doubtful, Derrick Rose – Doubtful, Matt Bonner – Out, John Henson – Doubtful, Jerryd Bayless – Doubtful, Spencer Dinwiddie – Doubtful
