This Wednesday, the NBA continues a balanced week with eight games on tap for the second night in a row. With stars like Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, John Wall and Giannis Antetokounmpo headlining the action, many fantasy owners will be looking to fill out the final few roster spots in their lineup with inexpensive but effective plays. Let’s dive into the top options in tonight’s Bargain Bin:

Bobby Portis – PF – CHI vs. DET – ($3,900) – The Bulls have shaken up their lineup for their last two games and started Nikola Mirotic over Portis. The move seems to have worked out well for Portis, though, whose price dropped back under $4K. He definitely found his rhythm in his first game off the bench logging 31 minutes and pouring in 22 points on 10-13 shooting. He added five rebounds to get to 28.75 DKFP against the Jazz.

Last night, Portis was a little less involved against Toronto, but he still ended up with nine points, five rebounds and 15.75 DKFP. Since the game went into overtime, Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo, Paul Zipser and Denzel Valentine all played 35+ minutes. The Bulls could look to Portis to carry more of the offensive load to give those guys a bit of a break tonight as they take on the Pistons. Detroit has given up the sixth-most DKFP to opposing PF over their last five games and Portis had ten points and six boards against them earlier this month.

Georgios Papagiannis – C – SAC vs. MIL – ($3,400) – If you tuned out the Kings after they traded DeMarcus Cousins, you’ve missed some interesting rotations. Lately, Sacramento has been giving time to their 19-year-old seven-footer from Greece, Georgios Papagiannis, and the big man has put up solid numbers.

In each of his last two games, Papagiannis has played over 22 minutes with solid results against the Thunder and Spurs. In OKC, Papagiannis had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for 34.25 DKFP. Even in a tougher matchup in San Antonio, he found more success with six points, 10 rebounds, a block and a steal for a solid 22 DKFP. Tonight, he and the Kings are back home as they take on the Bucks who have been depleted by injury up front. If you are looking for a value play in the middle, tonight looks like a good night to go Greek.

Monta Ellis – SG – IND @ BOS – ($3,700) – The Pacers are in Boston tonight for what should be an up-tempo, entertaining game. As a result of a slow season, Ellis’s price is below $4K, but he has been playing better lately. Over his last six games, he is averaging a healthy 19.7 DKFP on 10.8 points per game to go with 2.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

Ellis has at least 19 DKFP in each of his last four games, and he had 29 DKFP in the only game he played against the Celtics this season finishing with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Tony Snell – SG/SF – MIL @ SAC – ($3,900) – The Bucks edged the Blazers last night and Snell continued to log heavy minutes. He only had 14.25 DKFP in his 36 minutes on the court providing five points, five rebounds, and a pair of assists. Over his last six games before last night, he was averaging over 20 DKFP per game by posting 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals. He should be in line for more big minutes tonight and end up with more production in a better matchup.

He and the Bucks continue their trip to the West Coast as they face Sacramento tonight. The Kings have been a mess on defense lately and have given up more DKFP to opposing SG than any other team in the NBA this season and the ninth-most to opposing SF.
