The NBA Regular Season wraps up tonight with a full 14-game schedule. The Suns and Hornets are the only teams not in action tonight, but it remains to be seen exactly what stars will play and what stars will sit. As experienced owners know, stars sitting out either to rest for the playoffs or to end their season early creates an opportunity for players with lower salaries to step up and produce big DKFP. Stay up to date on good value plays as news breaks throughout the day on the DK Live App, and here are my four favorite options under $4K as we start off this Wednesday.

Justin Holiday – SG/SF – NY vs. PHI – ($3,900) – As the Knicks close out another disappointing season at Madison Square Garden, they’re expected to be without Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah who were most of their projected lineup coming into the season. In their absence, one player getting lots of time and usage has been Justin Holiday who will be a free agent after this season.

Tonight, he’ll be motivated to state his case for a starting role somewhere, and he has excelled with 12.5 points, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steal and just 0.5 turnovers per game over his last four games while shooting over 45%. Holiday has at least 22 DKFP in each of those four games, and he is one of the lowest-risk plays under $4K since he’ll again get his time and usage tonight.

Pat Connaughton – SF – POR vs NO – ($3,800) – The Blazers are gearing up for their series against the Warriors, so don’t expect many minutes for the regulars tonight against the Pelicans. With Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic all expected to sit out, coach Terry Stotts could turn again to Pat Connaughton who looked great in his start on Monday against the Spurs.

The Notre Dame alum saw his most extensive usage and ended up playing 35 minutes and going 6-10 from the field for 15 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and a steal. He finished with 27.5 DKFP and should play a similar role tonight in an even better matchup against New Orleans. He’s less proven than Holiday or McLemore, but he has high upside as he showed Monday.

Ben McLemore – SG – SAC @ LAC – ($3,900) – Another player making the most of his recent chances is former-#7-overall pick Ben McLemore who got the start last night against the Suns and totaled 27.25 DKFP on 13 points, nine boards, an assist and a steal in his 27 minutes.

The Kings continue to shuffle their rotation on a nightly basis, but if McLemore gets the start again tonight he should be a good play against the Clippers who need a win to wrap up home court advantage. McLemore has at least 23 DKFP in three of his last four games and five of his last seven, so give him a look if he is lined up to get another start tonight.

Malik Beasley – PG – DEN @ OKC – ($3,000) – After being eliminated from the playoffs, the Nuggets used last night to get a good long look at Beasley who has bounced back and forth between Denver and the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the D-League this season. He played a season-high 32 minutes in Dallas last night and finished with an impressive 30.25 DKFP on 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Since the Nuggets will likely hold out their regulars who pushed hard to try and stay in the playoff race, Beasley should see a similar workload tonight against the Thunder. OKC will likely be resting their starters to get ready for their playoff series against the Rockets which sets up Beasley for another showcase game.
